Peterson played a lot of years with the Cardinals. For many of those years, he was a great asset. I don't bear him ill-will.

His ego was hurt when he wasn't re-signed. It was another sign that he isn't what he used to be (who is?). He'd like to show the world that the Cards made a mistake, but they weren't, so he can't.
