He has cost this team at least 7 points in at least 2 games. I have no confidence in him when he steps up to take a kick. No excuses, no "wah wah, my long snapper or holder." PK has KILLED us in the last few years.

Prater is yet another problem inflicted on us by Keim when we really needed solutions.

We may not want to admit it but this team couldn’t overcome his missed kicks last night. Yes we did other things wrong but had to have these points. A miss on our first drive set the tone.

I said Prater in the beginning of the year wasnt all that good anymore and last year his kicking % was almost identical to Zane. That he’s also a year older. I was laughed at. Not so funny now.

To be fair.. two misses with laces in. Easy pass for me. Zane is also now injured and happened late in the season. Prater is staying healthy. There's that. :) I like that we can at least boot kickoffs into the end zone more often as well..

Now this is funny. I don’t have the time or patience to go find all the love posts on here for Prater but When we were 7-0 there were so many people on this board praising prater. This is hilarious. This board is so bipolar it’s funny. I’m pissed to. We suck right now. I think a lot of factors. But dude was the best kicker we have ever had. Just like colt McCoy was our number 1 player to resign after his first win. Then Carolina killed us. He was trash. Then he won against the 49ers and he was great again. Lol

Go back to the 7-0 start and you’ll see people questioning Prater missing kicks inside the 40 yard line. Then you’ll prob see your own posts telling those same people to **** and just enjoy the win!

So he cannot handle adversity and still do his job. Good trait for a kicker

yeah for sure. there's blame to go around, but he helped ensure that there was a two score deficit at the end.

Kicking a football 53 yards with laces in isn't a realistic expectation imo..so the adversity argument isn't valid there. But that's just me.

He had the distance I believe. I don’t pretend to know everything about kicking but I gotta think his foot mostly, of not entirely, comes in under the laces?

Great players figure out how to make unrealistic expectations into positive outcomes. But that’s just me

Prater was bad last year which ppl seem to forget. His kicks are a higher degree of difficulty but the percentages are what they are.

Higher degree of difficulty doesn't equate to percentages just being what they are. There is a reason when difficulty of kicks go up, percentages go down... Yes, my bias for prater is showing. But, still. :)

Kind of like 7 weeks ago you were telling everybody that had a concern they were off their rocker?

Then last night you say I'm not wasting my life over this team. Now that sounds bi-polar to me. So welcome to the club
