I know this is a Cards board, but I am a Husker fan too. Our Running Back Marlon Lucky was taken to the Hospital Sunday night, he was found unconscious in his apartment. Last I heard he is in ICU, making sure his organs are not damaged. Rumor is bad mix of pain medication from his back surgery.

Please send one up for him. Thanks

I was very distressed to read this...I will definately say a prayer for this young man. The Nebraska fans were some of the greatest fans that we have had the pleasure to host at the Coliseum. Keep us informed about Marlon's status, and please God help him and our Husker friends through this.

Sincerely, Linda

That sucks. Pain killers often have bad side effects.

Let's hope legal drugs caused his problem and not something else.

I hear ya, I really hope so Skkorp.

1usctrojan Thanks, you may already know but Marlon came from LA or Hollywood, he was one of Cali's best.

Family released a statement today here is part of it...thanks for the prayers.

"Marlon's condition continues to improve," his family said. "He has been removed from the intensive care unit and his condition has been upgraded to fair.

"We would like to make it clear that Marlon's medical emergency did not come about as a result of the use of alcohol or any illicit drugs. We are very appreciative of the thoughts and prayers for Marlon during this time."

He was one of the best RB recruits in the country out of Hollywood, CA. I believe he was one of Callahans first big recruits. Hopefully he can get better and back to full strength

Yes, he was the #2 runningback in the country behind Jonathon Stewart (went to Oregon). Thanks for the thoughts devilfan02, I am actually debating on getting SunDevil season tickets this year....gotta have a #2 team ;)

It's a good time to get tickets. I just renewed mine and their very affordable. The only problem is the AD makes you pay a mandatory "Sun Angel Gift" on every season ticket. The amount of monetary gift varies on what kind of season ticket you get.

If Erickson brings his proven track record of on-field success then your tix will be more than worth it. He put together a good recruiting class (speed, speed, speed!) in a short period of time and I expect his classes to be better with a normal calendar year to work with.

Thanks so much for the update....I know he's a California boy, plus what happened to our own Mario Danelo, I just had this sick pit in my stomach when I read this. Thank God he is going to be all right, for his sake, his family and the great Nebraska fans. Linda

Nebraska fans are great. Nebraska itself is an ugly wasteland. We should use the state as the nation's toxic and nuclear waste dump. Why not? It's already got the nation's most polluted river, the Platte.

Never been there? Drive through the state sometime. You will never again complain about living elsewhere.

Thats funny, I grew up in Plattsmouth...which is at the mouth of the Platte river. LOL But Nebraska in the spring and summer is a nice place to be. When ever I am back there I am just amazed at how many birds there are. I do see nor hear that many birds here in az. Lots of trees too. I like it but hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I like birds. I like taking shots at Nebraska too. Same for Texas. There are no birds in Texas. No trees either.
