You guys kill me with this stuff. You guys dont need to worry about one game at a time as a fan. The team does. NOT YOU OR US!

Not what I HOPE will happen, just what I think will happen...
9-7...wins the division
No matter how you stack it, it's a tough schedule. I hope we can at the least split with NYG/Eagles, that's a tough two weeks right there.
i kinda see this also. the Seahawks game scares me a little only because of how awful we've been up there and Hasselback's supposed to be back for that game. If it were Wallace it's a W but Matt historically scorches us in Seattle no matter what he's got to work with. That being said, even though the @ Hawks, Giants @ Eagles stretch is tough, I do have a hard time seeing this team go on a 3 game losing streak.
9-7 should be the WORST we end up, but I can't see us winning more than 10.
The team needs to focus on one game at a time. I'm looking at the rest of the schedule, the draft and who's on the schedule in '09.
The Cards have wins over Buffalo and Dallas in Arizona. There's no reason to think that they can't beat the Giants in a home game. Especially since the NFL wants the team with a worse record to win those games at home.
The Vikings are a running team. No team that runs the ball exclusively beats the Cards at home.
We lose to the Seahawks, Eagles and NE because those will be scripted losses. The other 5 are there for us to win to finish 10-6. Division Champs by a minimum of two games.
Where are the "smilies" ???
Smilies are unnecessary when you speak the truth.
So the fix is in...
Ok... fine.
SF = win
Sea = win
NYG = win
Philly = win
Stl = win
Minny = win
NE = loss
Sea = Win
12-4 which was my pre-season prediction!
Super Rich guys never rig anything....
Ok... fine
I'm looking forward to your detailed explanation as to how the league, team, players and officials are all brought together in this massive conspiracy.
No doubt, the key premise will be, as it always is, that the absence of evidence is in fact proof.
On second thought, don't.
I wouldn't want to waste 30 seconds of my life reading the mindless drivel.
Possible:
SF-win
@ Sea-Win
NYG-Win (we are a great home team)
@Philly-loss
Stl.-win
Minn-win
@NE-win (NE has the worst pass defense in the NFL. Warner's already salivating; Boldin is trying to find a place to put 3 souvenir TD balls)
Sea-win
that's 7-1 for a 12-4 finish, a first round bye, and the #2 seed. We win the first round of playoffs and the conference championship goes to home field. If the first seed gets past their first game, we lose. If we host the conference championship, book your flights to Tampa.
More likely
SF-win
@ Sea-Win
NYG-loss
@Philly-loss
Stl.-win
Minn-win
@NE-loss
Sea-win
That's 5-3 for a 10-6 finish and no first round bye. We win the wild card game, but lose to NYG/Tampa in the second round.
I agree with your second scenario except I switch the SEA road with the NYG at home. However, if Hasselback doesn't play the Cards could win in SEA and finish 11-5.
The win over the Giants will be the signature win for the new Cardinals-from a national standpoint.
Whoa, Eurocard. What kind of feel-good Jamaican reefer did you get hold of? Anything 9-7 or better that includes a division win is about as high as I dare to wish for right now.
NFC West
1.
Arizona Cardinals
Final regular-season record: 11-5, No. 3 seed in the NFC
Skinny: The Cardinals gain some second-half momentum with a relatively easy schedule, including only three road games. The running game picks up steam with Tim Hightower carrying the load. Arizona opens some eyes as a serious contender by cracking the west-to-east jinx and winning a wintry game in New England on Dec. 21. Kurt Warner starts pushing hard for a two-year contract extension.
2.
Seattle Seahawks
Final regular-season record: 5-11, no postseason
Skinny: Matt Hasselbeck comes back in mid-November, just in time for the tough four-game stretch of Arizona, Washington, Dallas and New England. It’s too late, but the Seahawks win three more and put up a far better fight in the second half than the first, even managing a late-season win over New England.
3.
St. Louis Rams
Final regular-season record: 5-11, no postseason
Skinny: A blowout road loss against the Jets to start the second half of the season officially takes all the air out of Jim Haslett’s regime. Not even four home games in the final six can get this team back on track. Steven Jackson chafes under Haslett’s practice-to-play demands down the stretch, and the Rams start looking for another head coach.
4.
San Francisco 49ers
Final regular-season record: 4-12, no postseason
Skinny: Mike Singletary finally gets his first win at home against St. Louis, but falls victim to a tough schedule through the rest of the second half. Five road games in the second half – two to the East Coast – are just too much for a team that was never that mentally strong.
Would love to see that, however I just can't see a way in which we'll beat the Giants... They are simply too tough, strong and deep on defense. They will cause massive headaches for Warner...
I don't know on the Giants. I don't think they've played any of the NFL's top 15 passing teams other than the Cowboys without Romo. Rams,49ers,Pitt,Bengals,Skins,Sea,Browns....none of those teams are exactly offensive juggernauts like the Cards.
Great though to talk about us actually winning that game instead of debating how badly we'll get beat.
I am so nervous. Think you may have all started a runaway Monday night Football revival from the Bears... (and before a monday game too, Geesh!).
