Houston Texans Roller Coaster

Are the Cardinals going to see the team that can't beat anyone, or some kind of emotionally charged fireball ?

This game has all the makings to be crazy.

With

1) an extra week to prepare
2) BA's familiarity with the Texans from his time with Indy last season
3) playing at home

the Cardinals should win on Sunday.

9/29 Seattle 23; Houston 20
10/6 SF 34; Houston 3
10/13 St. Louis 38; Houston 13

Don't be that NFC West team that loses to Houston!

Wade Phillips is coaching the team in place of Kubiak, according to reports.

That obviously helps. Lol.

My out on the limb prediction...This will be the first game we do not see a Palmer INT

everything seemingly is in the Cardinals favor...coming off a big W, rested coming off a bye, at home, against a rookie QB, a backup RB and a backup HC with a chance to go over .500 and yet my stomach feels a little uneasy about this one.

I penciled this in as a pretty solid W about four weeks ago, but now I'm thinking it's going it could be too close for comfort.

Cards 22
Texans 21

field goal at the end wins it.

Real bold. Aren't they one of the best pass D's in the League?

24-10 Cardinals. Texans never get out of the gates on this one. The loss of Kubiak really messes with them.

The O-line starts to jell. Palmer gets time and shows everyone he is not finished. Houston plays hard and keeps it close. Big day for Fitz over 00 yards and 2D's.
Cards 24-16.

The Cardinals win 90% of the time I attend a game and I'll be at this one, so I predict

9-0 Cards win

I certainly hope he gets more than 00 yards and less than 2Ds

Scared to death of that D and its pressure. The rookie QB looked pretty damn good to me.

However, we are at home and should be rested.

23-17 Cards.

Rookie QB looks great on long routes - foolish at times on short ones. I think our secondary burns him enough to have good, old Wade go too conservative.

Cards - 24
Texans - 20

b8rtm8nn, this has bugged me forever.... I've tried to figure out what your screen name means.... or how to pronounce it. It's just an idiosyncrasy of mine. Obviously you don't have to tell me if you don't want to and I'll just suffer in silence...:D

Wade is coaching them, Cards win 27 - 10.

I can't stress how much the absence of kubiak and presence of Phillips means to this game. Wade is a great coordinator but a ****ty head coach. Taking his focus away from the defense to maintain the entire team weakens their stout defense.

I can't help but feel this way...but i'm going to the game and that discounts out the inevitable egg that would have been laid otherwise...but just barely.

Should be a great defensive showdown. Rookie QB without his play caller vs a top D on one side and a daunting pass rush vs a team that has struggled vs good pass rushers this year. The D vs the rookie QB without his play caller wins this one. Cards 27 Texans 10 (only Texans TD comes off a short field gained by Cards turnover).

b8rtm8nn - derived from bartmann - crunched from bart rossmann - given to me shortly after birth by my parents.

Many folks just call me bartmann or 'the bartmann'...perhaps not surprising, I work with computers for a living
