Hey, I admitted that some of our players flop...especially the international ones. I'm a San Antonian, so am definitely biased toward the Spurs, but I'm not blinded by it.
Why are you so unhappy about the ending? You can chat it up all you want on Spurtalk.com about how unhappy you are with cheap-shot Horry, but the bottom line is that I'm pretty sure you will take the swap of Horry being out along with Amare and Boris. To say that they deserved to be tossed is lamn.
Nash was body checked and you want to call it a flop..classic. When the Spurs are on offense, at least one Spur falls to the floor on each play. So go back to Spurstalk and piss off.

I agree. Take your BS elsewhere.
Uh. Duh. I'm unhappy because my team lost. I'm surprised I have to explain that to a sports fan. You must be really insecure if you can't handle a little dialogue from a Spurs fan. Do you own this site? Didn't think so. I will gladly "piss off" when a moderator tells me to, not some ordinary gas bag. Horry's elbow would have knocked Nash down regardless. Fouling Nash in the last 18 seconds was the Spurs only option and every team in the NBA would have done it. He just let the frustration and anger get to him and hit him a little hard, but not hard enough for that overly dramatic fall. You have to admit his theatrical landing was a major embellishment.
Also, you idiot, I have stated that I DO NOT want to see either of your players suspended. However, per the rules of the game, if they cross that line it is an automatic suspension. I just hope that doesn't happen.
Why? Are you also afraid of an open discussion with a Spurs Fan?
Sadly, we have a few obnoxious, abusive people like you at Spurstalk too.
But we generally welcome the opinions of fans of our opponents, unless they're just heckling trolls. Which I have not been.
It's funny that you want to keep bringing up the Nash body check as being overly dramatic. Yes every player/team in that situation is going to foul, but it's the nature of how the foul was given. Most will just wrap their arms around a player as they know the refs are thinking that the foul is going to occur.

Dear Julie,
Nash does indeed flop. Like Ginobli, he has used it to join the ranks of league leaders in taking charges. It is what it is.
But Horry's foul? Julie, that was not a flop. That is basic physics of a 190-lb. man running at full speed getting hip checked by a 240-lb. man at full stop. Nash's inertia had to take him somewhere, and Horry made sure it wasn't going to be forward.
Nash was clearly seeing stars, even after the game. Guys who see stars aren't usually guilty of acting.
Nope you are welcome to stay.
Well, he "said" he was seeing stars, but we don't know that. And by the way, seeing stars is no big deal, I see them whenever I stand up too soon or drink really cold water. But right after playing dead and "seeing stars" he had plenty of energy to jump up and go charging toward Horry. And I know Manu is a flopper. He's also a tremendous player, but flopper...yes, he's guilty and I don't like his flopping, but it seems to be taking over the league these days. Some guys are notorious for it. I don't think this argument will ever be resolved between Suns and Spurs fans, we're just going in circles, so I'm moving on from this issue.
You should come to grips that the Spurs team is a bunch of floppy, whiney crybabies. The first step is acknowledgment.
I think Nash missing 2 out of 4 free throws might be proof that he was a bit off kilter after the foul. The adrenaline he would get from the fall would allow him to jump right back up despite seeing stars.
I'm just trying to figure out your point. Are you, in a backwards kind of way, saying what Horry did is defensible? And if Nash hadn't flopped so blatantly, with him being so big and strong, that Horry wouldn't have received a flagrant 2 despite having his elbow up?
but of course you Phoenix fans

GO SPURS GO
Sounds like some really good discussion going on over at Spurstalk...
I think this will be my last response to you since I think I'm wasting time talking to a twelve year old moron, who, like I said, is just looking for a fight no matter what I say. Did you even READ the part where I SAID we had some obnoxious and abusive posters at Spurs Talk??? Do you have comprehension problems? Let's just quit talking.
