The Suns play at the Jazz this evening with a reported 6 p.m. Arizona start time. The Jazz are a team I want to see play because on paper they should be much improved. This should be a tough match-up for the Suns because they are big and athletic.

In their last game with the Thunder, the Jazz started:

Derrick Favors
Enes Kanter
Alec Burks
Trey Burke
Gordon Hayward

Update on the Suns starting lineup:

Paul Coro @paulcoro · 3m 3 minutes ago

The #Suns will try one more experimental lineup tonight at Utah with Gerald Green starting at small forward. Gives him some time on Hayward.

Can anyone find a streaming video of the game? All I can find is radio at the moment.

Well, the Suns have achieved my goals from the last game. Len has scored a basket and Tolliver has hit a 3 point shot.

Why is Utah the only place I am unable to find a video stream on the internet?

sunsfan88, do you have a link that covers more than one play?

FT shooting isn't bad, it's awful. Suns as a team have been horrid FT shooting since Nash left and Dragic took over.

Hornacek needs to practice FTs with these guys, he was great at it, he should know how important it is.

I got the gif from real gm. Nobody there has a link to the game either.

I was watching the game earlier by connecting to a Utah proxy server (which will make it look like your IP is in Utah) and then using the link on the jazz website.

Damn Len, ever heard of a thing called "jumping"? He went up maybe an inch off the ground, awful play.

And Hayward isn't even someone known for his athleticism.

I don't have the game so maybe I'd feel different but I doubt it. Of all the complaints I have about Len, jumping isn't likely to be one of them. I want a big man that rarely leaves his feet, if that costs us a hoop now and then, I'm okay with it. And I especially don't want to see a guy his size pogoing out there if he has a history of foot or leg problems.

On this particular play, jumping doesn't worry me either. The real issue is that he was late rotating, and tried to block the shot with the wrong hand. He would have blocked that shot easily if he didn't insist on using his right hand to block it. His left hand would have been there in time.

So you woud never want Dwight Howard or Serge Ibaka on your team? Both those guys jump often to become the elite rim protectors they are today.

I never said Len doesn't ever jump, but he certainly didn't jump nearly highly enough on the play.

Speaking of Len, I would like to see him start at C to begin the season.

Plumlee has been horrific and I think it's time we gave Len starting opportunity to see what he has. He's looked better than Plumlee too (even though this isn't saying much).

It seems Gordon Hayward will be a big contributor for the Jazz this season.

Len is a much bigger man than either of those guys. You get a Mark Eaton or a Rik Smits or an Alex Len, you want him ground bound for the most part.

Yeah he doesn't have great instincts. I watch him and I occasionally see why we wanted him but I think we needed to recognize that he is a long ways away and added an interim option.

The Jazz announcers think their players never foul.

The Jazz fans trained them. They've never seen a home team foul. Not ever.

Steve

No doubt.

Also it seems the announcers get loud when the Jazz do something but barely mutter when the Suns do something.
