Tolliver can hit that 3 point shot.

It's kind of amusing. There is an echo when announcing the game where everything is repeated.

Tolliver getting locked into just being a 3 point shooter. He doesn't have to shoot it every time he gets the ball.

The Suns offense is shoot the 3 point shot or drive for a 2, if that isn't there, kick the ball back for a 3 point shot. Tell me there must be more.

The Suns may have missed the boat in not drafting Jusuf Nurkic, center.

Interesting watching the game streaming on RISE. No commercials. Seeing the timeout routines on the court just like at the games.

I was surprised to see how traditionally the Suns played. One of three Centers on the court the whole game. A lot of walking the ball up. Bledsoe was hardly noticeable.

Just a pre-season game with the home court advantage vs. a team with a couple of their big men out.

Still, the Suns had the lead through the game and got the W and gave everyone a chance to play.

This is excellent basketball.

The Suns look to be playing a European style of basketball with 3 top penetrating guards. I want more from the offense... some kind of inside game from the Suns frontline.

I guess if one lives outside of Phoenix they don't get Rise. I don't get it.

Well, it is the Phoenix Suns. :)

I think there will be only one more game on RISE - next Thursday.

Ironically, I will be driving from Phoenix to Santa Barbara to visit with husband & wife friends on Thursday and drive the PCH for awhile.

It sounds like a nice trip. Enjoy.

What matters is efficiency.

And balance.

And versatility.

And less predictability.

As I referred to in another post, last year every time I saw Goran and Bledsoe playing side by side, one usually deferred to the other until one of them went out. And now we have three.

Three reduced to mediocre vs. one outstanding, one backup and one on the bench as strength in reserve.

Is it even possible to have your team's three most talented players sharing one position? Two who averaged 20 points last season and another who was close.

Time will tell if this experiment puts us into the playoffs, let alone beyond the first round.

Of course, if Bledsoe gets injured again or Goran wears out again, it will help later in the season. Unless all three Point Guards get frustrated before then.

Nothing but a bunch of words.

Tell me how you get to efficiency. That's what matters.

Here's how, IMNSHO.

Let Dragic run this team.

His progression is off the charts. He just keeps getting better. He's a top 10 player in this league, maybe more.

That is exactly what I am saying!!!

But it ain't gonna happen with Bledsoe and Thomas trying to do the same . . . at the same position.

The Front Office has created a logjam!

I love this so called "logjam" but I do not consider it a logjam at all with Dragic, Bledsoe and IT. All three should get their minutes and wreak havoc on opposing teams. I read somewhere when referring to the Suns PGs they should be called guards instead of PGs. If there is a concern in this area it should be getting the SFs and other guards enough minutes.

Anyone but me think that Barron looked better than Randolph last night?

I just watched the game and logged on here to say that he looked better than any of our other bigs. I wouldn't single Randolph out as his defense was good - his rebounding wasn't as bad as his stats indicate (1 reb) as he got fouled twice scrapping for boards so we got possession. All of our bigs (PF and C) combined for 16 rebounds - our SFs got 21: PJ 10, TJ 6 & Marcus 5 plus our guards got 10.

Those same bigs combined for zero assists! That continues a problem from last year - if you recall we were near the bottom in assists, beating only Sac and the Knicks.

Our fast break sputtered badly, netting us only 14 pts - Denver got 16. Though we didn't get killed on the boards we rarely came up with a rebound cleanly so there was no way to trigger a fast break. I didn't notice that we got the ball upcourt any more quickly on non-breaks than last year - as Jeff has been preaching.

We never got out pick and roll going to speak of - the pick and pop was not so bad. There was a lot probing penetration by the guards and they scored passably - we shot 3's fairly well on the pitchouts and midrange shooting was okay, too.

As much as anything I'd say Denver lost the game by missing a ton of free throws down the stretch.

Reminds me of the old addage about having boys working for you.

When you have one boy working for you, you have one boy. Two boys, you have half a boy. Three boys "working" and you have no boys at all.

Nah. Its true about boys, but not pg's.

big observation so far.

Shooting. Keef, Mook, Warren, Randolph, Bledsoe, and Tolliver are all shooting better from the three than I expected. Archie's shot still looks horrible, but he is productive. If this is real, it is huge.
