The Suns play at the Clippers tonight with a reported 7:30 Arizona start time. The good news is the game is televised on ESPN. The Clippers played last night as did the Suns. Randolph and Barron continue to battle for the 15th roster spot. I would think Randolph has the edge because he played well last night and his contract is guaranteed. However, I think the 15th slot is still in play.

Good grief, back to backs in stupid preseason. The NBA schedulers are out of their minds.

will watch after the world series game 2.

Since it's preseason might as well get warmed up on predicting scores.

We play again on Friday @Utah, 3 games in 4 nights all on the road. The NBA is idiotic. The month long preseason is about 3 weeks too long and there is no way they should ever put in a 3 in 4 night road trip.

That is silly. Hopefully guys like Zoran get some minutes tonight rather than burn out starters in a meaningless game.

The player I want to see play is Len if only to do a welfare check on him to see if he is still around.

Some updates for tonight's game from Paul Coro on twitter:

Paul Coro @paulcoro · 17m 17 minutes ago

The #Suns will start the same lineup tonight & Friday as they did Tuesday. Getting ready for the opener. Bledsoe, Dragic, Morrii & Plumlee.

Paul Coro @paulcoro · 20m 20 minutes ago

Alex Len will play his first #Suns preseason game with a splint on his twice-fractured right pinkie. Good test against Jordan and/or Hawes.

T.J. Warren will not play tonight due to the left thumb sprain he suffered in last night's #Suns game.

Barnes is 3 for 32 in the preseason? Ouch.

Tolliver takes a shot inside. This is what he needs to do instead of shooting almost of his shots from 3 point range.

The Suns need to figure out a way to keep Gerald Green going forward.

Agreed. Unless we have to use him to get a quality big man I'd like to see him play his next contract in Phoenix.

My goal for tonight is to have Len score a basket and Tolliver make a 3 point shot.

He really shouldn't make this roster, it just shows how much we need a stretch forward that he's getting any time at all. I know Green is not a power forward but from what I've seen he'd fill that role better than Tolliver. But then, so would Thomas and I really don't want to cheer for the first 5'8 power forward.

I've thought the same thing about Green being able to fill this role. What surprises me is how bad Tolliver has shot with all the open looks he has received. If the Suns can make a trade I think they will try to include him. Luckily the Suns only have 3.4 million in guaranteed salary invested.

We'd be in a lot of trouble if we had to move Green there but like I said, we're in more trouble with Tolliver filling that role. If Len could become a true defensive presence down low than Green might actually be a nice option as a stretch 4 but we're just too soft inside to afford that right now. I know I'm still not sold on using Markieff that way. I think he fails as a stretch 4 and on top of that we lose one of our best bench options from last season.

The Suns need to make the effort to get Len a basket. He has looked slow and mechanical but at least try to get him a basket. He hasn't taken a shot thus far. I know he has an injured pinky but I think the Suns should try to get him more involved.

Tolliver has been absent thus far this preseason so it couldn't get much worse. Len looks like he is not ready to play if he ever will be.
