BA knows that the niners are on their way down, the Seahawks will be mortgaging their talent and losing a lot, and that next year this division will be between the Rams and the Cardinals, the two best defenses in the division, with the Niners and Seahags as also rans.

He's setting up the hatred nice and plentiful right now...swag all day.

Can you give me a quick thumbnail about why you think the hags will be headed downhill?
I'd love to see them go that direction.

I think this is what he is thinking:

Under the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement, the four-year contracts signed by draft picks can’t be renegotiated until after a player’s third season. QB Russell Wilson is now in his third season in the league. His payday is coming in the offseason.

Once Wilson's numbers go from $662,000 to many millions per season - Seattle will have less money to pay other key players or draw free agents. The core around Wilson and the defense could crumble a bit.

Just speculation, but I've heard it tossed around some on the radio and the web.

Not having Lynch is going to hurt too. It will hurt even more when he's running for the team in red and white.

Yes. The Financials will catch up to them. Plus they will let lynch go.

The Seahawks are a well run organization, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on the plus side of making it work after what happens... if anyone is going down, it is the Niners and that is awesome :)
