Forget adding more running backs. Too many dirtbags.

Let's switch to the Run and Shoot.

I wish ASU homers would stop bringing this up. The guy was a JC transfer in a great scheme for his skillset. It isn't going to translate into the NFL quickly, and there are veteran free agents that are a better fit for what we need than Grice.

What is Wells doing now? I am always curious as to what some of these players are doing now they aren't on a team or officially retired yet.

Edit: Looks like he is Co-hosting a sports show in Ohio now.

I don't think Wells is trying to play anymore. The Achilles tear was probably the last hit. But you never know. He wouldn't be my 1st choice right now.

Here's the deal with Grice, and I am not trying to offend anyone. Many people just watch their team. Many people on this board just watch the Cardinals closely. We happened to play a team in the preseason, whose homer announcers (on the broadcast feed shown on NFL network) were singing the praises of their final two backs on the roster. Grice was the one that got cut, and played decently versus our third teamers. Therefore, "bring him in".

Familiarity. It's the same reason Arians brings in former Steelers all the time.

Or we could sign former 49ers RB LaMichael James. I'm not sure why he doesn't have a job yet.

one gets the sense there is more there than just performance on field there

Every time i saw him he looked like a guy who could contribute --at least in a spot role

but i had also read form time to time quotes from 49er land that they were kind of annoyed / unsatisfied with him --

Was hoping for a different direction. Parmele didn't impress me against scrubs.

I think we're going to be okay here. He probably won't be seeing too many of those scary scrubs.

KaDeem is worlds better than Grice. Even a sun devil started a "draft Kadeem" thread here.

Anyhow, there are better RBs than Grice and Parmalee out there. Heck, if we were to bring in a preseason RB, I would rather have Bauman.

Injury prone. His elbows suck.
