What do you guys think about RB Steven Jackson for Quan in a straight up trade?

How would the Rams ever do this? Come on Bucky, you are better than this.

I'd do it. Then I'd try to trade Edge to someone for a late round draft pick.

In a heart beat. Would make our O way more dynamic then Boldin currently does.

The Cards want to get faster in the backfield, Edge could be let loose after this season. We could have a dynamic backfield for at least 1 season. I don't know what the cap ramifications would be but I would do it in a heartbeat.

No. I doubt the Rams would EVER trade within their own divison.

I believe Q for Steve Smith is much more realistic and beneficial for both teams.

No. I don't see Jackson having a long NFL career. He's already had injury issues and his running style doesn't give me confidence that he'll hold up over the long run. Better to extend Q and draft a RB with low mileage.

i do that trade in a second. You get a top 3 RB in the entire NFL for your #2 WR. There's no way the Rams would even consider that trade. This isn't the NBA where Memphis gave Pao Gasol for nothing to the Lakers(not that Q is nothing ).

As if Q doesnt have his own knee problems.

Boldin is the best player on this team. But I would still do that trade.

My .02 The best thing we can do going into the second season of our run for the ring is to maintain continuity. Let the reciever position play out with Breaston and others in the wings.
Build on our running game with a more expereinced Oline and address Qs situation at the end of the year.
Our D should be top 10 material this year taking some heat off of Lienart and Co. My biggest concern is our ST play.
The good news is we'll be playing for the division in Dec. with our current roster.

he's not even the best WR on this team. But he is a top 5 player on the team. I would trade him before i would Fitz, Dansby, Dockett, and possibly Wilson.

Fixed it for you.
I'm not so sure that Q hates the front office. I think he just felt it necessary to send a message to the team "you need to take my deal seriously".

Even though I was extremely disappointed that he made that statement the first day of camp, I doubt that it will affect his attitude or production this year.

I would much rather have Q on board than Stephen J.

this isn't even a realistic trade. waste of time.

why not? one guy unhappy about his contract for another. I don't like the thought of possibly tying up 18-20 mil in WR's. If Rod Graves does give in after this season to Boldin, and lets Dansby walk we may be setting ourselves up for failure.
