Kara Henderson did a short interview with Anquan Boldin on "Cardinals cam" last night. Q was very very serious. Not a whole lot of new stuff that has not been reported already.

What was interesting was that Anquan appeared very excited about the new offensive system being installed, about new offensive coordinator Keith Rowen, and obviously about Kurt Warner. Said he thought it was very important he be there(with his teammates) to get the timing down in the pass game, to learn the new offensive system, and just to be with his teammates.

Kara asked what he needed to do to get back to his awesome pro-bowl rookie season, and Q said, "All is need is to be healthy, and I feel I'm at that point now."

After watching that interview I am even more impressed, if possible, with Anquan. He's the consummate team player, who probably got some bad advice from his agent, and quickly took action to rectify the situation before it spiraled out of control.

One additional point: He told Kara that he had met with "Coach Green" on Tuesday, and Denny told him he was glad to have him back.

Loved it when Q said, "This team has a chance to go places this season, and I want to be a part of it.":D

Do you remember what part of the hour he was on?

I saw it.He pretty much confirmed what evryone already knew. Despite what Green says, Warner IS the starting QB. Boldin never even mentioned Mccown.

I thought it's been clear that it's Warner's job to lose. You don't pay a guy $4M to sit on the bench.

I am sure Denny will start the guy who he thinks has the best chance to win -- whether that guy is making $4M, $1M, or $300k.

Josh is already a distant memory. Those were the dark times. This is a whole new team. Q must be excited to have Warner throwing that deep ball.

No, he said he thought Josh should have a fair opportunity to compete.

The whole one piece of the puzzle thing....I think we should send a thank you note to T.O.

Why? Because his stupidity and the press around it probably was a factor in Q's decision. He didn't want it to become like that. (I'm sure he didn't have the intention to do so, but after seeing T.O., he was probably like..um...NO!)

Warner has been incredibly mediocre the last two years. I think we need to witness him see the light before declaring the dark times are over at the QB position.

"Mediocre" would be akin to emerging from the dark ages to the renaisance compared to our QB play the last few years. ;)

Wasn't Warner like 65.4% in passing lastyear? If that is mediocre.... I'll take it! I think Warner is getting a bad rap because he was benched last year. I don't want Warner to be handed the position but like many others have said "it's his to loose".

McCown will start one or two games, but Warner is the way to be.

Q will be just fine and benefit from a better choice of QB's

If medicore is throwing to someone further than 4 yards, sign me up!

Back to Q, I hope he has a great year glad to see him back!

Wow, that should have been really easy to find. I was just looking along the left column for the link. Thanks.

Sorry, as I agree completely, but seeing as though I just received my first degree with the word in the degree title, I must...

Remember how last year that Boldin was saying that Shaun King would be a good QB for this team? He was sure right about that one

It doesn't matter who you, I, Q, or anybody feels is going to be QB. The only opinion that matter is Coach Green's.

I don't care who the QB is, I just want the guy that gets it done
