From the looks of it, if nothing else, I'd probably be coming into a bunch of money very soon. :D
Plus, I'd still take her over Matt.

USC QB Matt Barkley will NOT throw at this week's combine. He might run, but will not throw until USC Pro Day on March 27. More at ESPN. Com

From todays sports news:

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

The Cardinals have several positions of need, but none is bigger than quarterback. The team is absent anyone resembling a legitimate starter at the position.

Few are projecting Tyler Wilson in the top 10, but he’s talented enough to go that high. The Arkansas product possesses a strong arm and a shot-taking mentality, giving him considerable upside.

Arizona can’t afford to wait any longer at quarterback, so it should be considering

Why won't this thread die? Who gives a rip about Matt Barkley or if he's throwing at the combine. He'll be a mediocre pro at best! Lets let it go already!!!

Don't discount how losing Matt Kalil effected (check me k9) him. Barkley is great when the pocket is clean which is the problem. The pocket is rarely clean in the NFL and Barkely tends to fold in these situations despite having great talent at USC. Pass.

:bim: Affected.

The Aardvark was affected by the arrow. The effect was electric.

Don't make me look through every thread for this.

Good thought on Kalil, though. Remember that Chad Henne looked awesome with Jake Long blocking for him against less than NFL talent at Michigan; they weren't able to re-kindle that flame when re-united in Miami.

I've heard that when under NCAA sanctions, USC loaded up their scholarship players at the skill positions, and allowed the talent in the trenches to erode. Seems those chickens came home to roost this year to Barkley's detriment.

yea

I factor in fact that we are desperate for a QB worth a squirt of piss- Now Is he a #7 overall most years- Maybe - probably would have competed with the great QB class last year- Now we can trade out quite a bit and still get him - and he may be there in the 2nd - because of the injury.

But He owns this year- By bunches! IMO - And our old staff destroyed every prospect we had at QB, with the possible exception of Hoyer- and I hope our young olineman are not "hit out"

or " spit out" like Beanie and others. I'm worried about DD's blow up- fine- disrespect afterwards- his age and his contract.

I like his leadership, I like his work ethic, I like his presence in the pocket and his ability to read the defense, I like the fact he's played in a pro style offense and I like the person. I just don't think he's a safe bet. He doesn't move particularly well and he's a bit undersized and that combination doesn't usually translate well to the NFL. Throw in an average arm when healthy and the fact he has shoulder problems and he's just too big of a risk at the 7th pick. I'll buy into the pick if Arians thinks he's the right guy but I just don't think that will happen.

JFC SMEL! Give it up, Beanie was either tripping over his own feet, or injured.. He hardly got a bum rap here.

or

or breaking franchise records for yards in a game, an 1000 yards and 10 TD's. He had 5 TD's in 88 carries in half of last year- scored 3 after the entire offense had a 3 game td drought -

Why is so hard to see anything good? He was benched behind THT like Edge- freaking laughing stock of the NFL teams- with 7 carries a game when he was healthy?

Saying THT was better than EDGE and The Bean is like saying - Da and Hall was better than Leinart- looked just like our offense- stupid!
I can't believe you still think this way after years of proof-

Barclay is the best prospect - hands down.

He is Cardinal- acts right- tries hard- is one of the most talented players on this team- I don't think he's faking injury like DD and Q did? I think He is hurt! ansd will get better like Thomas Jones a Hearst did- post Cardinals.

HE is Cardinal hear him tweet! well that doesn't mean what it use too!
He is a good young man- He has this fans support- until he plays against us!
