Now before all of you pile on me with this post, I just - for the fun of it - wanted to see what you think about Favre possibly still wanting to resume his NFL career.

"Major" drama aside, he is still a solid veteran that could come in and probably immediately lead our Cardinals to a NFC West division title.

Since every other QB option for the Cardinals has been discussed during the NFL lock-out I felt I would be the first "Favre" thread of the 2011 Season-LOL

Go Cardinals!

I would forget about the Cardinals for a year and just take a season long break from the NFL if the Cards signed Favre.

Also didn't they say that Favre would easily lead the Vikings to the division crown and yet they were awful.

.... and yet I would still take a 68 year old Favre over Derek Anderson!

The last two seasons showed he no longer has the physical stamina to play through a whole season................
Here is an idea....get Orton to play the first 10 games....then Brett for the final push and the playoffs!!!............nah,....forget it...

he'd have to have the EXACT same language used in GB and Vikes to get it to work.

At this point Orton and Kolb are young QB's with enough potential that I'd rather take the risk there and have them for a few years rather than a one and done...and that goes for any older qb.

I'd rather lose the season to a lock out.

Hey and we could sign LeBron James as a TE. The sports media would be all Cardinals all the time.

Cowherd,Patrick,Rome,Mike and Mike...nothing but Cardinal talk all day and all night. There's nothing the national media likes more than to talk about Bret Farve or LeBron James.

I would rather have Joe Montana.. I think he could do it if Skechers made him a pair of shape-up cleats.

it was only a matter of time....
LETS DO IT!

If Orton goes to Miami then lets take a hard look at this scenario again:

Option #1- get unproven Kolb, lose DRC, lose future top draft pick, and pay Kolb 8-10mil a year. Thats a lot to give up!!!

Option #2- Give Hall of Famer Brett Favre a chance to do what Kurt Warner did in AZ prove everyone wrong and get back to a Superbowl. Plus we keep DRC and only have to pay Favre 4-5 mil a year.

Go Cardinals!

Do people forget that Favre is 41 yrs old (older than the RETIRED Warner) and was awful last season (11 TDs 19 INTs)?
