Safe and likely true prediction: Both will start over the course of the season.
Doom and gloom for doom and gloom's sake, eh? That's a silly and pessimistic line.
Rather not start 0-5 in the process
Skelton will start: 17 TDs and 28 interceptions.
He had 11 tds and 14 interceptions last year. I'm not a pessimist, perhaps they can get him to slow down and cut down on the interceptions. Maybe final numbers would be 16 tds and 22 interceptions. That was the numbers that Josh Freeman had last year. Sorry but I'm not going to give him high qb marks this year. Although he has played it would be his first really full starting season. I think he is a work in progress.

Skelton could likely make a whole season without injury.
More likely than others at least.
Yea true. But he will likely play bad enough for a long enough stretch to be benched.
If kolb starts yes
Skelton could likely make a whole season without injury.

With this offensive line?? Are you sure about that?
1. Skelton
2. Lindley
3. Veteran waiver wire pickup
Kolb gets cut after Final preseason game.
I heard Rod Graves on Sirius radio. When talking about QBs, he first mentioned Lindley. I wish I remember his exact words...something like "I think you could say we got him a lot lower than we should have. We stole him." Then when he mentioned Skelton and Kolb, he said neither is where they should be, where the Cards expect them to be, or where they themselves expect to be. Given that Kolb has been around for 6 years and Skelton 2 and from Fordham, I take that to mean "goodbye Kolb".
Skelton. 3500 yards. 18td 14 pick. Manages the games and gets us to 9-7 and a wild card.

OUR!!!! :bim:I too believe Skelton will be are starter. He played in 9 games last year and even though he started many slow his record stands, as does his abilty under pressure after just two years of pro ball. Kolb will be number two unless they pick up one of the guys who are released. We wont trade for anyone only a release. Lindley will make up the three some.
All he does is win. Imagine if he got 100% if the training
Skelton guides the team to 9-10 wins,
3500 yards 21 td 14 int.
Playoffs.

Warner did it and skelton is more built than warner.
Point is, Skelton is not fragile and has a big ben like frame. His likelyhood of injury vs what we are used to in lienarts and kolbs and very low.
I would say he has 20x the chance of going 16 straight games than mr glass
I think there is more than a decent chance the Kolb is cut before the season starts. He is just so putrid and has no heart at all. I would certainly cut him and elevate Lindley to 2nd string.
