for a bond girl. Yes!
If you mean that she is not an "athletic type", I completely agree.

Otherwise, she is smokin'....

But who is the last "great Bond girl" then? Not Halle Berry - using an athletic criteria - not really Denise Richards, though she is very cute as well. Certainly not Teri Hatcher.

Went to a midnight showing last night. It was solid entertainment and worthy of the ticket price IMO. But it certainly wasnt as good as the last one.

Also a little to much of the new trend jumpy camera syndrome during the action scenes.

Like Michael Mann style (Collateral, Heat, Miami Vice)?

I just bought 6 Bond movies on Bluray (2 sets of 3) and each set is supposed to receive 2 tickets to this movie.

So it looks like I'm going to have 4 tickets to see this soon.

Surprisingly, it's receiving bad reviews as being just a standard action movie like Bourne.

Not me. A Bond movie is great precisely because it's Bond , not because there are huge action set pieces.

That doesn't make sense. Any Bond movie is great because it is a Bond movie? Any Bond movie is great? If so, they how can it be just another huge action piece?

If they add 45 minutes to the movie for fight/chase scenes that add nothing what little plot there is, you move closer to Bored Ultimatum and further from Bond.

There was plot in the BU eventhough you didn't like it. It wasn't as good as the 1st one, but most movies aren't.

My buddy saw it this morning and said it sucked compared to Casino Royale. The plot was "flat". It was an action movie not a Bond Movie.

This defintiely had the bond feel to it rather than a Bourne feel. But Casino Royale was definitely a better movie.
