Can you give us examples of real Bond woman?

They were adult women, frequently sexually aggressive. They tended to have voluptuous figures, often dressed provocatively (and even if they started out straight-laced, they had sexy lingerie). They were not just competent, but tough in their own right, a fair match, and therefore a worthy conquest, for Bond. They would give as good as they got. Bond didn't just sort of accidentally end up in sexual encounters with them -- even if they were trying to kill one another, they often had a good roll in the hay in mind first.

Thanks, but I would like some names.

Tanya Roberts (A View to a Kill)

i agree with the rest of them, but zenny, Tanya Roberts? Really?

i always liked the chick in For Your Eyes Only. She was a Bond girl! With cross-bow and those eyes.

that was Moore's best. Love that movie. Best Bond ski-chase... if i'm thinking of the right one and a good song. is that also the one where he drops Blofeld into that huge chimey stack at the beginning?

Went to see this last night only because hubby insisted "but it's a Bond movie!"

Complete waste of money - weak plot, no character development, way too many incredulous airline chases, car chases, boat chases, etc.

Give me a movie that has good dialogue and good characters and forget all the silly car crashes and action scenes.

Saw it last night and could not have said it better. But I'm stuck in a time warp. Sean Connery has been irreplaceable as 007. A few of the other Bond flicks have been okay.

Which early movie had the fight with James fighting off the knife wielding attacker? Was it Goldfinger or Dr. No? Anyway, I saw it first time in a showing in an open air beach bar in either Jamaica or St. Croix in either 1968 or 1969, my memory is hazy. I was a teenager guzzling Schooner beer.

What stuck with me was the memory of the dinkers' reactions. People yelling at the screen, "Stick him, mon!" Huge drunken cheering at the end of the fight. We were laughing so hard all of my friends were in tears. Precursor to the calmer stuff in the US at showings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I apologize if anyone reading this was somehow involved in making this movie, but I must say this was a completely stupido movie.

I really like Daniel Craig, but come on now.

I can't believe I didn't stop watching this dumbfest after 45 minutes.

Can we please stop with the Bourne Identity themed rogue agent stupidness. Been there, done that.

And I am supposed to overlook how it takes Bond under ten seconds to take out an elevator full of MI6 agents while he is handcuffed, but the eco-terriorist frenchie bad guy manages to fight toe to toe with Bond for several minutes and still not get knocked out?

I agree with the majority here, quite a disappointment after Casino Royale. I read that the writer's strike affected the rewrite process.

I still love Craig as Bond though.
