Is everything
Lately I've been making homemade "Quarantine Friday Feasts" (despite having very little previous experience tooling around a kitchen). I'll randomly select a recipe online that looks good and just go for it. Usually some kind of ethnic or unusual dish. My wife jokes that on Fridays our house smells like white people don't live here.

Here are some of the recent dishes, all pretty easy to make. If anyone would like the recipes for any of these let me know:

Spicy Cajun Seafood Stew
Classic French Bouillabaisse (Oui Oui!)
Thai Red Curry with Chicken (super yummy)
Thai Fish Cakes
Thai Pad See Ew
Pacific Rim Chicken Sambal
Indian Chicken Tikka Masala (wife's fave)
Spicy Garlic Shrimp with Green Beans over rice
Salmon stuffed with Creamed Spinach
Beefy Crunchwrap ala Taco Bell (teenage daughter request:))

Anyone else cooks ribs in the slow cooker? They come out nice and tender.

I smoke ribs now but I used to cook them in an instant pot, they cook in about 45 minutes and then grill them to get a nice char.

I'm not quarantined but I did recently learn how to make a roux. The first go was while camping, made a roux cheese sauce for mac n cheese and it was KILLER. Since then, I made a home made alfredo sauce that was amazing and just did the mac and cheese the other night and it was fantastic again. Soon I want to make gumbo out of a roux.
