The video is on the main page.

Two thoughts:

1) He certainly passes the eyeball test...he looks fluid and athletic. (very limited tape)

2) He sounds like a really good kid...no attitude/ego issues.

Now we know why the Raiders cut him.

I would think #2 is largely due to him having been released reportedly because he had an attitude?

No local people are confirming the rumor it was an accidental release so unless its' a big coverup it sure seems like there was some issue that caused his release but who knows.

everything I'd read up until then said he was considered a promising player so it sure was a surprise he was cut.

I hope we end up with an pro bowl caliber player. It could not happen to a more deserving team than the Raiders.

I listened to an audio clip of him (link is on my comment on another Moses thread) before the draft and he is saying the same exact things.

He sounds like he's got his head on right...seems motivated and ready to put in work. He's got really good/fast jump and burst. Looks like good acceleration.

Lott is going to sculpt him, I hope. He seems to be a grab and throw tackler and not a hitter, so his strength is going to need to improve so people don't escape his clutches.

I have worked for a place that had a whacky CEO in the Al Davis mode --

at one time brilliant, but now just arbitrary and out of touch.

I think that Lane made his list of the final roster thinking that he was going to make that decision-- and then he gave it to Al, who threw it away and handed back his list.

It's not like people were beating down the door for the Raiders job.

Lane Kiffen had to know what he was getting into. I think Al Davis thought Kiffen would just shut up and accept his tinkering with the team.

Apparently he has.

Now that we have both a Pope and Moses on our team, surely god will be on our side this year.

After Quentin seals a victory with a nice play, perhaps we'll hear Kurt Warner yell "thank you Moses!"

Would a picture of Quentin walking through a crowd of fans wearing Cardinal jerseys be captioned:

Moses parts the Red Sea.

Karma (it just took a little while)

I'll grant you that Darwin Walker is now on the slippery slope to early retirement, but back in the "Mac Years" we cut him despite him having a pretty good camp..... So, maybe the addage "what comes around goes around" is finally in our favor. Walker went on to Philly and made quite a name for himself. Perhaps we'll be able to say the same for Moses one day. But in the mean time........ here's to that tasty red kool-aid!

Looking at the roster I am glad he's here. Seriously this team is lacking SEC players which has some of the finest football in the country on both sides of the ball.

What do you have to trade to get a guy that isn't even on the active roster? Lets give them the rights to Luis Sharp and Swann.
Over paying by far. Maybe if they threw in a 1987 first rounder.
