Question about computer speakers

I own a Dell and want to upgrade my speakers. My question is do I have to buy thru Dell or can I get any kind of speakers at a place like Best Buy?

Computer speakers are non specific.

Any brand will work just fine.

Also, if you have happen to have a nice stereo system you can hook your computer up to it with a 3.5mm to RCA cable.

This is what I have, 5.1 speakers that didn't cost a lot of money, but still sound good.

I have the Z-560's and they freakin' boom.

Logitech really came up with a good system after being known as a second-rate knockoff company.
