Tom Tupa. Was he a QB or punter?
STL fans took out an ad, about 5x8, in the paper that said something along the lines of, "Dear Phoenix, now you know why we were glad to see them go."That was a nice introduction for all us Az fans to what we’d come to know and loathe about the Cards.

IIRC Lawrence Philips ran amok on us in that game. Monday Night Football no less.I saw Steve Youngs career ended by a hit by Aeneas Williams and I think JJ McClesky.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/198910150crd.htmRemember the game he was deemed the Six-Pack because he threw 6 picks in a game? I believe it was a 17-5 loss to the Eagles on my bar nitzvah weekend. Good times.
not sure if replacement will help mine as the bone is desolving/deteriorating.... doc wants to swap out my right knee but i'm too fat right now, lol...and a bit too young. doc says I should wait it out 5 or 10 more years if I can which I am good withMe Too, but I got two metal ones now. So I'm good to go.
We got held up in traffic and got to that game after he was KO'd. I did see lots of losses there but don't remember any of those QB's. Too many brain cells have died since then LOL.

Should have asked I have this game, it's my vid on YouTubeThis was the game I became a Cardinal fan. Montanna didn't play that day though (which others on here have already commented on.)
After years of searching, I managed to get a copy of the game on DVD from a niners fan. The commercials are an absolute time-vault.
Go Cards!!!
No better place to put this so here goes. I've been here in PHX for the last four days and there is just no excitement about the team what so ever. It's like the old SDS days. It's a little depressing...

What is there to be excited about right now? We’re pretty much out of the playoffs, the oldest team in the league with a coach a lot of people have lost faith in.
That said, the UoP will still have at least double the fans SDS would have had at this point of the season.
We’re just stuck in NFL purgatory and we all know it. It’s the worst place to be, especially for fans and a team that has actually had success in the last decade.
Was talking about the local fan fare and the local sports radio. It is obvious we have more fans now then back in the old days.
exactly...reminds me of when my oldest son was 2 or 3 and had to watch the Lion King 4 or 5 times a day every day for two years or so...you know every scene word for word, the characters never change, the emotional impact of simba's loss is gone.... it's all about, "just hurry up and end so I can put this damned kid to bed"I get it, but at this point in the season, what kind of fan fare do you expect on the radio? It’s s totally lost season. Its not even like we can hold on to that shred of intrigue is Gabbert a possible QBOTF at this point.
There’s literally just nothing new or interesting to talk about this season. No burning question to stimulate discussion, etc... it’s literalky a repeat of last season when all the same questions were asked or talked about: Amos sucks/should be fired... will Palmer come back? Will BA come back, etc etc.
Hard to generate excitement for a rerun... with a possible rerun on the way for next year as well.

.
we are rapidly approaching the time when, after years of frustration, Lion King suddenly "Magically" caught fire and was totally destroyed....
