The only TE I am taking at #33 would be Fant and its doubtful he would be there.

lol, I know you really don’t get all your info from NFL.com. If so, we can stop this convo right now.

No I certainly do not.It is a handy reference though.Smith isn`t a bad player but I prefer a real old school TE .You have me curious though and I might do some more looking and watching to see some more info/highlites on Smith.

I can’t bring myself at all to draft a run stopper in the first 3 rounds.

That young man looks to be more than your average run stopper.

Your point is more than valid, tho.

If Harry is available at 33 he would be hard to pass on.

I go back and forth about Harry. One thing that intrigued me that Larry Zierlein said about Harry is that he doesn't think Harry tried hard as a route runner in college and that he basically knew he could beat anybody at 50/50 balls. He said he thinks Harry has a lot of untapped potential, that he could improve as a route runner remarkably.

It would be cool having Harry and Kirk, with Murray throwing the ball.

I don't think Cards are drafting OL till the end of the draft. They did not sign two veteran guards, and trade for a veteran right tackle if they were planning on drafting an OL early.

Maybe they would draft a tackle if they thought the value was outstanding, but I am nearly positive the 2nd and 3rd rounders will be WR or DL.

It depends who is on the board - and if we have traded Rosen for a pick that has already netted us a WR but if we have then I think it might very well be wise to trade down at 33.

That's a fair point.

I have to say, I like the interior players on the oline better than the tackles this year. There are a few that are really good, and I think if you want one, you need to grab them from the late first round on.

Yet, the question with Harry is he THAT much better than:

- Miles Boykin
- David Sills
- Hakeem Butler
- Jamarius Way
- Antione Wesley

and a few other big body jump ball receivers.

Pick #33 is a conundrum.

I hope (yet I do not think it will be the case) Trayvon Mullen, CB Clemson is there at that pick. I think that is he best choice. The cornerback class seems to get weaker the more I read and learn about them.

I am hot and cold on the interior linemen. Worried they will get pushed around, but I do like that many of the "better" prospects are touted for their ability to diagnose blitzes up the middle, which is KILLING NFL teams at the moment. Especially the Cardinals.

I've probably done close to 1000 draft similations(Nerd Alert) and if I stay put with one and go QW/Bosa, my second and third rounders have been WR and Oline almost everytime.

2nd: Bradbury, Cajuste, Lindstrom, Harry, Butler

3rd: McCoy, McGovern, Deebo, Ridley

I think he is. Harry isn't just a big jump ball receiver though. He returned punts as well. He's really fluid for a bigger guy. He's also a specimen. Looked at how strong he is. He probably could bulk up and play TE.

I'd stay away from the CB class until later in the draft. Get a developmental guy.

It's one of the reasons I like Lindstrom so much.

Watch his tape against Clemson and he held his own. His bench press was good and he's not sloppy looking. Should be able to add a bit more weight and continue getting stronger.

I think he's going to be a Pro Bowler at least a few times.

Where do you think Miles Boykin is drafted?

He reminds me of a bigger/faster Anquan Boldin.

I am not saying he will be that successful in the NFL...just the way he plays reminds me of him.

If Hockenson somehow falls I hope we take him, otherwise I would like to take Samuel

I cannot see how that happens, but if it does, I think that is a no brainer. You cannot pass up that value.

In the second round BPA. This team has so many holes just take the highest rated guy on your board

it's quite possible we could have the 32nd & 33rd picks in the draft. Personally if they were both there, I'd love for us to secure our OL for the future by taking both Andre Dillard & Cody Ford w/ those 2 picks.
