If dave mcginnis takes a job in the NFL as a LB coach or DC for the 2004 season - do the cardinals owe him his salary for the last year of his contract?
I heard on KDUS today: hope guys like Joe greene and Kuhlman (all of the coaches we do not retain) get jobs for next season so it will lighten the financial load for the Cardinals (we would obviously rather spend it on players). It is probably at least $3 million (mcginnis is $800,000 or $900,000 of it - and there are quite a few coaches - but they are obviously make less than mcginnis)...
If these guys get jobs elswhere - do we still have to pay them? I hope they all get jobs soon....
For some reason if they get college jobs....I think they can keep the cardinals $$ for next year - just not if they have NFL coaching jobs...
