Ray Horton should immediately be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. With busts at both corners and two old safeties and no pass rushers he fashioned the #5 pass defense in the NFL last season.

Cleveland fans get ready for a very enjoyable season. Well at least half the time.

5-11 with him and 5-11 without him. :)

The other thing is the way we played the last 2 years when you make a mistake at CB everyone sees it because we're blitzing and putting PP on an island often.

I'd have to rewatch it but I thought the big plays by Hartline last year were not against PP? One he ran him down but it wasn't his blown coverage IIRC.

Crabtree ate him up, he had some bad plays at times but at times he was really good, and again the way we played there's no margin for error.

What I want to know is who was supposed to be covering Brian Hartline last season.

If you were offered an even-up trade of Sherman for PP, you'd you take it?
No, Sherman is a jerk, and PP returns better.

Peterson's peers voted him the top cornerback in the league in that NFL Network Top 100.

Anyone else think that Arians may keep one less receiver and an extra DB on the 53, if he plans on using Peterson on offense as well as defense?

PP has been a pretty good CB, but with his skills & his hype he needs to be great!!!

If only #21 was the technician that Aeneas was...IMO PP relies to much on his speed & sometimes gives up too many big plays when he finds out the WR can run just about as fast or when he realizes baiting them didn't work.

PP is not even the best CB in the NFC West.

That could be true and he could still be top 10. He is one of the brightest lights on this team and around the league is considered an excellent pick by the cards even considering the high slot where he was taken.

I watched Aeneas Williams a lot in the old days and I am absolutely confident that PP will be better.
