At least Washington's mistakes are mistakes of action and not inaction.

This just confirms my thoughts about Davis and his bad attitude. Perhaps one of the reasons we weren't winning as many games was because of his crappy play. Have fun in Washington.

Wanting to play for a winner is a bad attitude? I don't ever remember Davis complaining one bit or talked about as a locker room cancer during his 6yr tenure for one of the worst teams in the NFL.

I can see you not liking David Boston's attitude or Simeon Rice but LD is a quality person.

šThe Redskins are in my top two,™ Davis said. šIt's between
the Redskins and the Cowboys.™

I don't think that he's a locker room cancer, but he's an underachiever. I think that that sort of attitude (complaining about the losing ways of a team when you're part of the problem) doesn't cast Big's character in a positive light.

I wanted us to sign him and I agree with what you are saying.

"This is an organization committed to winning," Davis said. "I haven't had an opportunity to win games out in Arizona. It's probably time for a change of scenery for me."

Oh, but you have LD. Making stupid false start penalties and allowing the QB to be crunched during a crucial part of the game does not contribute to winning however. If you want to know part of the reason why you weren't winning, look in the mirror.

Good luck Big, you deserve better. I gurantee if the FO keeps this crap up in the next 5-7 years if not sooner we'll be saying goodbye to Fitz, Boldin, and Leinart.

Except that his performance and failure to reach his potential was part of the problem.

We've said these sorts of things about a lot of our free agents over the years, haven't we?

Aeneas Williams and Simeon Rice and Thomas Jones and Ken Harvey and Tim McDonald and Jay Novacek and Kyle Vanden Bosch and 500 other players didn't have an opportunity to win many games in Arizona either.

Most of them gladly let the door hit them in the rear as they left town.

Hopefully the trend ends with Davis.

There are a few Super Bowl appearances in that group. Good enough to play on Super Bowl teams but not good enough for our beloved Cardinals and their fans. Good Ridddance!
