I wonder how the producers are going to work this in. The character was a big part of Howard's life. She was his everything for a very long time. This could also be a good time to bring Howard's father into the picture. Also, this is a great time to have a very poignant and touching episode. Comedies do have that once in a while and if the producers don't screw it up, they have an ideal chance to hit a home run here.

Screw poignant and touching, I'm there to laugh not tear up. I hope they just ignore it and let Howard or Bernadette do the voice as they've each mimicked it well in the past. But more likely, they'll go your route. At least now when they make a sappy episode I can blame it on you instead.

If you don't watch the Big Bang Theory then you won't know who she is. If you do, she's the voice of Mrs. Wolowitz. If you watched Seinfeld, she was on the episode that had Keith Hernandez. George takes her out because she is the daughter of the lady from the unemployment office.

It's the scene where Midler and Shelley Long first meet. All the actors are seriously preparing for their audition to join this invitation-only acting class while Midler is screeching on the phone to some guy to keep them from shutting off her service (or reactivating it, I forget which).
