My employer asks me to do stuff all the time so I go do it because I am happy to be in the position I am in. Its not like they are asking something huge of the players.

The thing is, it's not new. Lynch barely dealt with the media when he was at Cal too. When he does talk to the media all they do is write about his bad grammar or not so subtly suggest he's not very smart and how did he ever go to college.

He absolutely doesn't like talking in front of big groups of people.

I've never quite grasped the whole thing, what exactly is he supposed to say that's so important, it's football. Guys that want to be interviewed get interviewed, guys that don't shouldn't have to.

If he's making obscene gestures or cursing his butt off by all means complain, if he just doesn't want to be interviewed what is the big deal? How can it possibly be worth a 500K fine?

Exactly. He is no victim. He is paid to play football and do interviews. Its fine he doesn't have to answer every question, but to sit there and not say a thing is stupid.

He did fine in his "paid" interview with Skittles. He had no issues answering those stupid questions.

If he's truly suffering from SAD or something like that I have to believe all he'd have to do is provide medical evidence of it. There is no way the NFL would want to be the bad guy in that situation.

It's not in Goodells contract. Being available to the media is in player and coach contracts.

If the stupid media would just avoid Lynch completely then he would probably miss the attention and start talking. Seriously if no one from the media would even approach him and absolutely no one would ask him even one single question then he would lose the attention he gets by acting the way he does. The media should ignore him. The problem is every one of those dumb media people think their the one that is going to get Lynch to talk to them. Then it will be their exclusive.

At media day not one single media type should have even gone over to Lynch's position. They should have left him sitting there by himself while every other player got asked questions. Are people that dumb that they can't figure out lynch is playing them and probably calling them stupid behind their back?
