Raiders and Fassel

not sure if it's been posted here but they interviewed Jim for the head coaching job and according to them, the only other candidate they have met
with, is Steve Sarkisian. They met with Trestman, but that was for the OC
position, which seems really odd since Sarkisian is an offensive guy, as is fassel, so why interview OC's when you haven't hired the coach, but apparently want an offensive coach?

So they are apperently denying reports they've talked to or will talk to Dennis
Green.

I'm just wondering if Solomon and Hargrave planted that rumor since they know it's their best shot at another NFL coaching gig?

I really like Fassel and hope he gets another shot someplace soon. The best the Cards have been was when Fassel was OC.

When have they been better, since their move to AZ? I guess you can argue that they were better with Lomax as QB, until he was hurt..but.....
