Raja was in the studio for 3 segments during the Jim Rome show Monday and he was flat out phenomenal. I have the streamlink .mp3 and while I know it's not legal to post it I was thinking of hosting it for a day anyway if anyone is interested in hearing it.

so carey, are you going to host the recording you have? if so, I'd be interested in listening to it as well.

Thanks. He is really articulate and I could see him as a color guy after his playing career (complete with two titles) is done.

No problem. Nash is supposed to be on today by the way. Though his interviews are always so-so imo and he's always plugging something :p

I wish I could speak for Raja on the Kobe thing. If I could offer him some words, I would have him explain it this way:

"Kobe deserved it, I just regret when I did it. It could have proved costly for the team, and that would have eaten at me all summer. I'm all about the team. If I had kept my head, I would have marked it down and made sure Kobe received full retribution during the regular season. But make no mistake I would have found other ways during the series to let Kobe know he's not my master."

Raja, he is a good interview, he definately has a future in broadcasting. He makes most of the former players, Pippen, Anthony, et al sound like doofus's.

Was I the only one who found it strange that there were callers talking about his time in Philly and Utah, and even a Laker fan called to pay his respects, but no Suns caller?

A fellow Jungle listener?? Nash usually isn't a great interview, but Rome can usually get SOMETHING out of him.

That Eric Byrnes interview that Rome had on Monday was insane. I wish I could find it.

War the ban on Oren in Denver.

Thanks Carey. That was great. He gave me something to listen to during postseason organization and clean up.

Nash on Jim Rome

And NEZ, if you need that Eric Byrnes interview contact me at soneieq on AIM. I have no problems with Oren, but he's no Kerwin.
