The urban swamp
Goff will take the brunt of the blame.... but

Right side of O line could not block
Cooks couldn't catch
Secondary couldn't cover Edelman
That D line disappeared
McVay could not adjust to BB zone defense

Where was Higbee?

etc.

Cooper Kupp may be MVP in absentia .

They won a Super Bowl in those uniforms. Every championship they ever won was with gold in their uniform. They won nothing in the blue and white.

The Rams of the late 60's were extremely good, led by Roman Gabriel & the Fearsome Foursome. How was it that the (1967) 11-1-2 Rams had to play the Packers (9-4-1) at Green Bay in the playoffs? The Rams & Packers both won their divisions, yet they played in GB in frigid temps & lost. They also had to play in even colder temps in MN in 1969. Those were championship caliber teams.

Goff was exposed to some degree as not identifying the Pats pass russ and blitzes. Give the pats credit for what the did but there are ways to combat blitzing which Goff/McVay failed miserably.

Kudos to Belichick/Pats for utilizing defensive schemes that they hadn't used all season. Great coaches are difficult to beat when they have an extra week to prepare. I still think McVay should have been able to make halftime adjustments.

When the Patriots showed they could run the ball against the Rams

Everyone could run the ball against the Rams this year. They were 28th in rushing DVOA and 9th in passing DVOA.

Interesting fact: Arizona was 8th in pass DVOA and 29th in rush DVOA. We were basically the Rams if you took away all the offense.

I kept looking at how clean and fancy their uniforms were throughout the game. Looked like uniform models, not football players.

The difference was THEY scored points and played with big leads. Defense takes away the pass. With us it was , why not just run the ball?

OK. You're contention is that the blue and yellow Rams uniforms that they wore Sunday are indicative of the loser St. Louis Rams when the fact is, they wore those exact uniforms when they won Super Bowl XXXIV and that with the exception when they were just blue and white, the blue and yellow colors have been their colors even when they were in Cleveland and were their colors for every title they ever won. You can have a preference but to indicate that their blue and yellow look reminds you of them they were losers is just plain disingenuous. Now if they wore the dark blue/metallic gold uniforms you'd be somewhat correct.

Respectfully disagree. Judge by eyeballs rather than by stats and the Cards weren't the Rams less offense. The Rams were far more physical.

Rams look like toast already no?

1. Super Bowl loss hangover
2. When their LT declared, everyone is going to die one day and deletes Twitter account
3. OL in shambles
4. Their star RB declines to talk to media following no one knows what happened to his decline in the last 6 weeks
5. Looming departures of key players
6. And their QB exposed for failing to read defenses in the last 8 games

Sure McVay and Philips are good coaches but 2019 season will be rough on them I think.

They decided to wear those ugly blue & gold uniforms. As soon as I saw them, I told my family the game was over. The old blue & white uni's the Rams wore when back in LA during the 60's/70's are classics. They need to take out every ounce of gold in them next year. Otherwise, they are still the St. Louis Rams loser franchise.
Actually the stats says you’re basically screwed wearing a colored jersey in the SB & it’s pretty staggering!

12 of the last 14 winners have worn white, 37 of 53 winners have worn white for an incredible 68% Win total.

Of course the Big Red chose to wear Red as the home team lol :bang: Dammit Michael Bidwill lol

Ok, I did say that I personally liked the blue/white versions. They bring back NFL memories that I loved. The blue/gold are ugly, at least for me. I like the old traditional uniforms. I hate the new $hit that comes out. Just me.

The old wives tale is that the Cowboys don't play as well when wearing their blue jerseys but they only wore them in 1 Super Bowl, SBV. You'd have thunk that the Bills would have made them wear the blue the 2nd time they played them.
