Jeff Fisher's agent is Marvin Demhoff. Kevin Demhoff is Marvin Demhoff's son. Kevin Demhoff is the Chief Operating Officer of the Rams. Fisher is in St. Louis with Marvin Demhoff yesterday and today. Just sayin'. You know.
Both ESPN's Adam Schefter and Yahoo's Mike Silver are reporting that the Jeff Fisher head-coaching sweepstakes are down to "two-team race" between the Dolphins and Rams.
On SportsCenter Wednesday, Schefter reported that "It'll be between the Dolphins and Rams. ... I think people around the league believe Rams have an edge." The "edge" would be largely due to the presence of Sam Bradford, although Fisher only "likes" Bradford and doesn't "love" his long-term potential, according to Silver. Fisher met with Rams owner Stan Kroenke on Wednesday night. The meeting is expected to extend into Thursday.
If hired as Rams head coach, Jeff Fisher would reportedly not retain Josh McDaniels as offensive coordinator.
Owner Stan Kroenke would like to keep McDaniels around to continue Sam Bradford's development, but Fisher wouldn't take the job without control over his coaching staff. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also reports ex-Ravens head coach Brian Billick is "not on the Rams' radar" as a fallback option to Fisher.

This.Jeff Fisher does not know offense. That is and will be his downfall. He is a dinosaur in the new NFL.
Citing sources familiar with Jeff Fisher's thinking, 101 ESPN St. Louis reports Fisher is "on the verge" of becoming the Rams' next head coach.
101 ESPN's Howard Balzer cautions "the decision is not final," but reports that Fisher is expected to choose the Rams over the Dolphins by next week or "even sooner." The Rams satisfied The Rooney Rule during Friday's interview with African American Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton, so they can sign a coach to a contract as soon as an agreement is reached. In St. Louis, Fisher is expected to have say in the Rams' GM search, which typically translates to significant power when it comes to personnel decisions.
