6th rounder = late round pick

They have more cap space than any other team now AND had more than any other team last year as well....MadCardDisease said:Moss was way to expensive for the Vikings
Rats said:FWIW....Gambo and Ash on there program today said that Randy Moss would not agree to go to Oakland and redue his contract so the deal was off. They said he would only redue his deal if he were to go to Atl and or Baltimore. I guess we will see if Moss is the scallywag we all seem to think he is

Yeah, and we all know how good a guesser you are.kerouac9 said:Did you notice that it was RANDY'S AGENT that leaked the trade to the press? I'm guessing that Randy is Okay with it.
He'll be 29 when the season starts.gamebird98 said:Isn't Moss to young for the Raiders?
RedStripe27 said:I think this is a good deal for the Vikings. They can replace Moss with Braylon Edwards or Williams if they desired. Not to mention they got Napolean Harris out of the deal. Not bad in my opinion.
MadCardDisease said:Harris is a top young LB and he still hasn't entered his prime.
I agree with you 100%. If the Vikings traded Moss for this they would be the stupidest front office in football. There either has to be more to the trade or no trade at all and there trying to get Baltimore to sweeten there offer. Hell I would give up Ray, and our next two #1 and Johnson to bring Moss here. There has to be more to this trade or the Vikings got Fleeced. Oh well, sucks to be a VikesFanjoeshmo said:If Harris is a top young LB then so is Ray Thompson. Harris has what I call Rayitis. A player that everyone thinks is on the verge of breaking out or is already good becuase they make a few plays here and there and have great athletic ability, yet it never actually shows on the field. The guy hasnt done a darn thing yet, he doesnt get sacks, ints, PD's, FF's, FR's, and only gets minimal tackles. Now that isnt saying he wont have a Wilson type turn around just that the kid hasnt proven anything at all his first 3 years.
IMO Minny got fleeced by only getting a 1st, late rounder, and below average to average LB.
It says a lot for the Raiders to give up a LB even though one of their greatest needs is LB.

The Vikings are just proving how friggin stupid they really are. Trade Randy Moss? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Yeah sure they can just find another WR that can outrun, outjump, and outcatch every other player in the NFL. What a crock! This is a dumb move by the Vikings, who are heading south for the next 5 seasons. Tice as a head coach (the dumbest one in the NFL), and getting rid of all your quality players is not going to help.
This a dumb move by a collection of dumb people.
The Raiders must think it is their birthday right now since they have the most talented WR in the NFL on their roster.
