Would someone be willing to locate and embed a clip of Hill's dunk? Unfortunately I had work tonight and didn't think the game would be worth TiVoing.

Man if we can just get into the playoffs this team could actually be dangerous, well if Shaq and Nash, Grant stay healthy and if Stat gets back in time for the playoffs...I am not losing hope yet. Hope Nash is able to go on Sunday sure would be nice to play the Lakers not so shorthanded for once geesh.

LOU!!!!! Boy had himself a 20pt 10rb night with 4 blocks to top it off! I'm really hoping this kid is kept around after this season. He'll be cheap and he's great energy off the bench.

This was a damn fun game to watch, but only further lowered my hopes that Dragic and Lopez could ever even reach "serviceable" status.

No Amare and still 90pts in the paint is crazy.

While I don't see Lopez ever being much of anything on the court, I see flashes with Dragic. He's not one of those rookies who are ready to contribute for sure, but it's a new game, new everything for him this year. I have hope that by his 3rd season we will see mass improvement. Remember Joe Johnsons first few years in the league were anything but impressive. Not claiming Dragic to be or ever be the caliber of player Joe has become, just pointing out that while some enter the league with obvious game, there are more that take time to develope.

And this is the first time since last June that he's played somewhat consistently in live basketball games. He has a lot of work to do, but there is some talent there.

Dragic has shown flashes that he can play in the league. I think it will come with consistent playing time. Lopez needs to go on the Oliver Miller diet. It looks like he is a bust. Louie is doing what they had helped Lopez do. LB is looking like our version of Devin Harris. We can think of how many times he looked bad in the pastl

Bosh says O’Neal cheated in his 45-point night

PHOENIX (AP)—Toronto’s Chris Bosh had an explanation for how Shaquille O’Neal scored 45 points: He cheated.

“He was just camping down in the lane,” Bosh said Friday night, after O’Neal’s biggest scoring night in six years led Phoenix to a 133-113 victory over the Raptors. “I mean, if they’re not calling three seconds—I thought it was a rule, but I guess not.”

It was the 49th 40-point game of O’Neal’s career and his highest-scoring game since he got 48 for the Los Angeles Lakers against Boston on March 21, 2003.

“It was cool,” O’Neal said. “Guys were really looking for me. I’ve been saying all year if I can get those touches like that, I think I can do that every night.”

A week shy of his 37th birthday, Shaq made 20 of 25 shots and grabbed 11 rebounds.

“He’s just so strong and pushes guys right under the basket and gets inside,” Toronto coach Jay Triano said. “We have no match for him.”

O’Neal still insists no one can guard him one on one.

“I’m the only player,” he said, “who looks at each and every center and says to myself, ‘That’s barbecued chicken down there.”’

Louis Amundson scored a career-high 20 as the Suns outscored the Raptors in the paint 90-36. Matt Barnes added 18 points. Grant Hill had 14 points and 12 assists, just two shy of his career high set 11 years ago for the Suns, who were without Steve Nash for the second straight game with a sprained right ankle.

Former Suns star Shawn Marion led Toronto with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Andrea Bargnani added 21 points and Bosh 19.

O’Neal, who also had 11 rebounds, sealed the victory by scoring all the Suns’ points in a 10-2 run that gave Phoenix a 120-102 lead with 5 minutes to play. He left the game to a thunderous ovation with just under 2 minutes remaining.

There were 10 lead changes in the third quarter, with the Suns up 96-90 entering the fourth.
“We were right there, man. I don’t know what happened,” said Marion, who drew a big cheer when he was introduced before the game. “We just hit the tank or something, and everything just sort of went the other way. It’s frustrating because I think the fight in us just went out the window.”

The Suns are 5-2 since Alvin Gentry took over as coach. The victories have come over the Los Angeles Clippers (twice), Oklahoma City, Charlotte and Toronto. The losses came in blowouts against Boston and the Lakers.

“I’m not really impressed winning against teams we’re supposed to beat,” O’Neal said. “We’ve got to step up against the upper-echelon teams.”

How is Shaq the one cheating if the officials are not calling the violation? I think there is a bit of truth in Bosh's complaints, but if they are not going to call 3 seconds, Shaq is definitely going to take advantage of it. I like Bosh, but he's being a crybaby there.

I didn't see the first half and I've never been one to defend Shaq, but after rewatching the 2nd half, I did not see one instance of a 3 sec violation on Shaq. In fact not even close. Bosh is crying over nothin' here, maybe's just upset that Lou posterized him with a reverse dunk?

lopez is only good at pretending to hold the bench back when someone makes a monster play.

It's kind of funny that Bosh said that, because in the one highlight I saw, the first thing I thought was, "That looks like three seconds on O'Neal." But no, of course it isn't cheating. Suns fans know better than anyone that officials change their minds all the time about what infractions they'll call and what ones they won't. If it's a slow news day and the league wants O'Neal to score 45, it's pretty easy to tilt the scales to make that possibility more likely.

3-second violations are like holding in the NFL: they can be called on nearly every possession yet many times are looked the other way because there is so much action going around elsewhere.

Bosh; however, is being a whiny little bitch about getting punked for 45 points. Shaq has been doing this for 17 years, he is a grown ass man. Deal with it.
