1) Jonny Flynn- Fast, quick, athletic, and can get to the rim consistently. Pretty good on the ball defender. I feel like he would flourish in the up tempo game and his ability to penetrate is another great weapon when we end up slowing it down. Also a great leader.
2) Earl Clark- Clark would seem to fit very nicely in our system. Long, tall, very athletic, solid shooter, runs the floor well, and has the ability to become a good defender. Small forward is a position of need with Barnes likely leaving (hopefully) and Grant nearing the end of his career or signing else wear. I like J-Duds a lot but we could use someone else there obviously.
EDIT: Brandon Jennings- I think Jennings strengths would be magnified and his weaknesses minimized in the Suns offense. He is an unbelievable athlete and his potential is limitless.
3) James Johnson- Good size, big wingspan, solid shooter, and tough. He would fit our system well and as mentioned before, we could use another SF.
4) Stephen Curry- I am warming up to Curry more and more. The guy is an amazing shooter. If he can effectively run an offense as a PG then he will be a good NBA player for a long time. I just have a hard time drafting another defensive liability.
5) DeJuan Blair- Blair is the tough guy that we need to crash the boards and be physical. His height doesn't worry me much because of his long wing span. However, his weight will always be a concern and he isn't a terrific athlete. I would be satisfied and apprehensive at the same time if we drafted him.
6) Tyreke Evans- I like Evans a lot as a player, but he isn't a pure point guard yet is most effective when he plays the point. He is an electrifying scorer but is a tweener. Although their games are different, that is the role Leandro plays for us.
7) Eric Maynor- This guy is growing on me a lot lately. One of the most NBA ready players in the draft. He is a real PG who has a great assist-to-turnover ratio. Good defender. Strong in nearly every area though he doesn't stand out in any of them.
8) B.J. Mullens- Mullens is a freak athletically for a guy his size. He has a chance to be a top 5 center in the league. I just don't know if he is the defensive presence we need in the middle.
9) Gani Lawal- I really like Lawal and think he would fit in nicely here. Has a lot of athletic potential, runs the floor well, is a solid defender, a good rebounder, and plays hard and tough.
10) Gerald Henderson- Henderson is a great athlete and a good defender. Although I think he would fit in well, if we keep J Rich and Barbs both, then their aren't many minutes at the 2.
11) Terrance Williams- His athleticism would hit in really well here with the run and gun, but he doesn't shoot the ball well.
12) Austin Daye- His skills would fit the system really well, but do we really want another soft player?
13) Ty Lawson- I think Lawson will be a great backup PG or a mediocre starter for a lot of years. Had a great season for UNC, but I think 14 is too high for him.
14) Jeff Teague- Tweener. Knows how to score, but if we are going to draft a guard I would rather have a pure PG or a pure SG.
15) Wayne Ellington- Great shooter and you can never have too many of those. 14 is a bit too high for him IMO.
16) Chase Budinger- I just really don't want Budinger. The guy has a lot of ability but has no killer instinct. I am tired of having players who are going to be a liability on the defensive end..
How do you rank these players in your order of who you want the Suns to draft?
