I'm sure if the Cardinals drafted him his jersey sales would eclipse MHJ's...
I would buy at least one Skattebo jersey if we got him.

Dumb, if he played for any other college we wouldn't give two craps about the dude.
Yeah Clyde Duncan was the one that came to mind. And the second round pick of UCLA kicker Joh n Lee a couple years later was also baffling, as was Pisczarkwitz.
It would have to be 3rd and he might even be gone by then. He would be solid about wearing down the defense. What round would serious about him translate to do you think?
So a baffling pick means Bill Bidwill orchestrated the selection?Yeah Clyde Duncan was the one that came to mind. And the second round pick of UCLA kicker Joh n Lee a couple years later was also baffling, as was Pisczarkwitz.
Chuck LevyWhy do you think this would be the case? I don’t ever remember Bill Bidwill pushing a particular player for a given draft pick.
Which past picks are you thinking of?
Actually, I ignore mock drafts. Just been watching football for a long time.you've been reading those pothead mocks again

I have to shake my head on this![]()
My memory is a little different from Russ’. If any of you aren’t aware of the Duncan pick in those days teams could go to ant potential draftee and say, “If we pick you in round 1, what will you sign for?” Duncan agreed to a cheap deal and was the round 1 selection. He wasn’t just bad, he was historically bad. He caught no passes in 1984 and 4 for 39 yards in 1985. He was out of the league from then on. This prompted the NFL to change the rule so that initially only the team with the first pick could negotiate. It is a little more complex but that’s enough for now.So a baffling pick means Bill Bidwill orchestrated the selection?

I see, thank you. I had forgotten about those days. Why would that have anything to do with picks today? My memory is a little different from Russ’.
