I disagree with the thread title.

I was browsing the Falcons message board and a lot of the folks there are giving props to the Cards Defense, and are saying we could be a really good team in a year or 2 with a healthy Boldin and a better running game.

They are worried that a lot of other teams will watch the tape of this game as a model of how to contain Vick - which the Cards did all game save one play.

Yeah we are 0-3, but the games to me have been much more fun to watch than getting blown out game after game last year. But we are 0-3 against teams with a 6-2 record and have been in every game this year in the 4th quarter.

Your correct about one thing- we are 0-3. I recognize we are rebuilding this year but so are a lot of other teams around the league and those teams are not bumbling, stumbling, and embarrassing themselves in the red zone time after time like the Cardinals have been doing now for the past 2 weeks. Lets not forget the -23 or so yards after the Bertrand Berry fumble recovery last week. But again im happy that you feel "good" about the product your seeing on field by the Cardinals.

Go Cards/ America!

I never said that.

I simply said that the games are more fun to watch when we have a chance in the 4th quarter as opposed to getting blown out in the 1st quarter like many games last year.

It's fun to watch the defense to a certain degree. I hate stupid sports chiches but, they're bending and not breaking. That's good. The goal is to score more than they do. Too bad our offense just blows right now. One more touchdown in each of the first three games and we win one, tie one up, and lose to the Patriots. But I'm not gonna get into the shoulda, woulda, coulda deal...okay I will! Going by the stats we shoulda got blown out. In the past we woulda. And we coulda won one or two of the first three....okay, got that out of my system and I feel better.

We've got a lot of work to do. No question. We ARE moving in the right direction. The wins will come.

The Falcons played a terrible Niners team on the road, the road struggling Rams at home, and the Cards.

Hardly a list of 2004 playoff teams.
Want to bet the Falcons and Pats are in the playoffs?

If i wasn't depressed enough 2day I'm watching the Steelers rookie QB B.Roethesberger showing more pocket poise and presence in only his 3rd NFL game then our starting QB McCown who is in his 3rd NFL season. Oh my, now I know why the bad teams stay bad. Can't wait til tomorrow until hopefully i wake up and this was all a terrible nightmare. We can't be winless going into October. It's still September and I'm not ready to talk 2005 free agency and draft position yet. Very sad day to be a Cardinals fan. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

I never said the Pats won't make the playoffs. I was commenting on the post before mine that talked about how great the Falcons were playing.

Thats all.

unfortunately, with special teams that's all it takes. letting a kick return for a td is complete failure. particularly in light of the fact that we had a blocked kick for a td last week and a punt return for a td the week before. failure.

You must not watch any other NFL games. The Cardinals were ten point underdogs for this game and almost won it - only losing by 3. The defense has played exceptionally well and even tho the offense obviously has a long way to go, this team is much better than last year.

they were 1 1/2 point dogs to the niners.

How did we lose this game 2day??????????????????????????
Why are destined to ALWAYS have 3-4 win seasons????
When will people believe me that our special team are the worst in football???
We hear about Cubs, Red Sox curses...But what about the curse of the Bidwill owned Cardinals???

Where in the world did you see us as 10 point underdogs?

SF was favored by 1.5 points AT THE MOST, and most favored the Cards...

This has become my own anti-curse thread as everytime we play like the "NFL Laughinstock" we seem to respond the following week with a big win. I hope that happens but reality is we are the NFL Laughingstock once again after this sorry excuse of an NFL team that took the field in Buffalo today against what everyone said was the worst team in the league. Please Coach Green, FIRE the special teams coach!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have around 200 yards on returns and you are saying just ONE bad play??? How many times they started within our 30 yards? I know 3 definitely.

It's the State of Arizona's fault?

Definately not!!!!

They should be admired for putting up with this kind of weak effort by an organization. The Arizona fans are amazing and the support they give a team that rarely gives back what they take is overwhelming. I am amazed how some are just un-phased, and always supportive. They are better fans then me, and are the ones I look to in order to help me believe.

From the punter right up to the CEO this organization has to acquire heart and determination to be the best. And they MUST give more back to its fans.

I Agree 100%. The Cardinal fans from Arizona are the best diehards out there. I love the Cardinals and always will but I "think" I have higher standards for what I want from this team then most others. All I want is what Coach Green promised: a 10-6 record. Actually I would settle for 9-7 but at 2-5 I will once again have to settle for 5-11 or 6-10. This downright SUCKS!

We are not the NFL laughingstock anymore but with games like today we will be very soon once again. Damn we suck so bad today. Making the Carolina backups look like an All-Canton team. Unreal. Embarrassing. Disgraceful.
