All of us would like for the Cardinals to sign five or six Pro Bowl type players in free agency every year. Write it down Arizona will NEVER be a headline team when it comes to acquiring talent. If you want the "name" guys you need to be a fan of Dallas, Washington, Miami, Tampa Bay, Denver, Oakland, etc. The Cardinals will continue to bring in mid-level players, wine and dine them, let them go to another city and sign somebody when the money dries up on the open market. Dennis Green may help some but I will be very suprised if things change very much. The new stadium will help, but more important is winning on Sundays. Arizona must become like the Bucs did in the 90's and put a good football team on the field. Winning recruits fans and players. The best place to start is to have two very solid drafts and keep your playmakers on board. Prepare yourself for the inevitable the Cardinals will not be rolling out the red carpet in free agency.

I would like a reality like the Bengals had last year.

I don't expect 5 starters like they got....but it would be nice to get a couple.

Hicks may be a starter.....Macklin is not.

There are more people coming on Fri and Sat who are good, so no need to worry!

Screw this. Everything goes in cycles. At some point the Cards will be on top. Might not be this year, might not be next year, but it will eventually happen.

The sentiment that we'll NEVER be an attractive home to free agents is just plain ********.

Well said Art.

I'm not worried.

The Bengals signed guys last year who weren't big names....just guys who did contribute.

With a large group coming in Friday and Saturday I have faith that we will sign some decent players.

Section 11, we have never been big players in free agency. My feeling is don't get your hopes up too high because your likely to come away empty handed. I've been a faithful Card fan since 1986 so I do know some history about this team.

Personally I don't have my hopes up either, this year at least. My gut tells me that we're going to sign a few guys who may or may not be better than what we have.

I just don't think that will ALWAYS be the case. Absolutes are for suckers and cynics.
