Dont know if this is true or not, but the evidence looks pretty damning for Tedford and Cal

This kinda thing falls under the "Golden Rule", IMO. How would Tedford and Pendergast feel if a team faked an injury against them? I would want to beat an opponent fairly without resorting to that kind of crap.
Faking injury may be legal, but it's definitely unethical. JMO.
I was talking about it with a friend yesterday he said the counter is that Oregon runs that hurry up to stop opposing teams from subbing in players and they have a specific "Call" so if a team tries to sub in players they can immediately snap the ball and get a penalty for too many men on the field. So some people feel Oregon is sort of asking for opponents to do what Cal did.
I don't buy it but I guess I can sort of see that side of it. Stanford did it some too, as did USC, just not as poorly acted as the kid from Cal did it.
I saw that. Despite slowing them down on offense, they obviously had a good defensive game plan for the ducks. Maybe they watched some film on the Boise oregon game last year?
No offense to Spud St (ha) but this is not last years Oregon team. You may be able to beat them this year, but you'd have to put a 50 spot on them to do it.
More coming out on this, apparently there were 4 different nose tackles viewed doing this during the game. I dont have anything against Cal, but this is just classless imo. Is it illegal? No. But it is unethical and teaches these kids bad habits that cheating-and yes I believe it is cheating- is ok.
I didnt watch the game so I wont comment on who should have won, but this is kinda sorry if you ask me.
