Former Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Josh Reynolds has been signed by the New York Jets, according to Ian Rapoport.

This is a one-year deal for Reynolds worth up to $5 million.

The Jaguars released Reynolds prior to free agency starting. With Reynolds due a base salary in 2025 of $3.99 million, along with carrying a salary cap hit of $4.26 million, the Jaguars saved the full $4.26 million in cap space since this was a contract they inherited last season.

Reynolds had originally signed with the Denver Broncos at the start of the 2024 season. Following his release, the Jaguars claimed Reynolds on waivers in early December.

Reynolds appeared in four games for the Jaguars last season. He had one reception on five targets for 11 yards. In total in 2024, between his time with Denver and Jacksonville, Reynolds had 13 receptions for 194 yards and a touchdown.

Reynolds' best season came in 2023 with the Detroit Lions, when he totaled 740 receiving yards at 15.4 yards per catch with six touchdowns.

He now joins the Jets under head coach Aaron Glenn, whose tenure in Detroit overlapped with Reynolds, while New York's new GM, Darren Mougey, was a part of the front office in Denver that signed Reynolds last offseason.
