One four-star recruit on Wednesday signed with Arizona State basketball. Another is expected to do so Thursday. Both players are ESPN Top 100 players.
Jethro Tshisumpa – a 6-foot-9, 260-pound center from Mountain Mission School in Virginia – is the first 2016 player to sign with coach Bobby Hurley's program. Although raw offensively, he's considered one of the top senior shot blockers in the country.
On Thursday, wing Sam Cunliffe of Seattle Rainier Beach High said he will sign with ASU at a school ceremony. Cunliffe (6-7, 202 pounds) committed to the Sun Devils in June. He had scholarship offers from Gonzaga, as well as half of the Pac-12.
Always nice to have an Australian rugby style punter who punts over 50 yards with either foot. Welcome aboard!
ASU also hosted Frank Martin, a 4-star OT currently committed to USC last weekend and will host 5-star RB Kareem Walker this weekend. Byron Murphy is still on our radar but the longer it takes him to make a decision worries me about him leaving the state.

They needed more OL as they have some guys graduating. These guys should be ready to challenge for starting spots next year.
N'Keal Harry AZ's top high school football player has verbally committed to ASU.

I read on another forum that Harry is ranked the #1 WR recruit in the Country, that our class is now ranked #21 in Country, and that the JC's we are bringing in constitute the #1 JC class. Sounds good, hope its all true!
The next shoe to fall will be Connor Murphy. That would be amazing if he came to ASU. Extremely stiff competition, including Jim Harbaugh who is coming in for a sleepover! http://www.latimes.com/sports/usc/u...onnor-murphy-jim-harbaugh-20160119-story.html
Actually the next shoe to fall will be Byron Murphy who is scheduled to announce his commitment tomorrow at noon. ASU looks to be in great position to land him but TAMU & UW along with USC all have a shot.
Byron Murphy picked Washington. Washington? Really? Sheesh.
