Greg Williams, Al Saunders, Ron Meeks, Jim Caldwell, Pete Carroll, Jim Fassel, Steve Spagnulo, Jim Schwartz (is it really that many Jim's?)....and now Steve Marriucci??

Russ Grimm can't even get an interview? Really?!

Don't get me wrong - I am happy as hell it has turned out this way - but I remember when some fans were describing it as a fait accompli that Grimm was as good as gone when Gibbs resigned.

Seem's pretty laughable now, eh?

However I did see this blurb out of the ...the Examiner..?

that just show that Snyder doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Or that no one wants to work for him. I could still see Petey taking the job after National signing day on Feb 6. I mean he does have to play Ohio State the next two years .

See, the problem here is that Snyder has this great idea to bring Bud Wilkinson out of retirement, but no one seems to have his phone number.

Why would a Grimm interview have to be done in secret? Seems like a pretty far-fetched reach for a story.

I think they just want someone with head coaching experience and that's why they haven't contacted Grimm. Of course, that's pure speculation, and I am attempting to infuse logic into a scenario created by Dan Snyder so I probably already committed a grievous error.

Between this and the Hall of Fame snub, he'll be full of fire this offseason. Hopefully that translates into a very productive coaching year.
