Talk about feast to famine. Trey is easily one of the best doing it now, I LOVE Higgins who doesn't get the praise he deserves enough IMO, and Tip is doing exactly what we asked of him. The trust Kyler has in these guys is a huge reason for our recent success IMO. So happy to see it.

Yes, but at one time we had both Jay Novaceck (All-Pro) and Rob Awalt (1987 Rookie of the Year) on our team. Bugel came in as coach and got rid of both of them because he viewed a TE only as a blocker or somebody to perform H-back type functions.

They traded Awalt to the Cowboys and left Novacek unprotected. Both ended up with Dallas and Novacek became a star TE for them while Awalt battled injuries the rest of his career.

I remember when McBride was selected people said it was a wasted pick because you don't selected TE that high and the Cardinals don't use TE.
