$30K X 17 games = $510K total

I think that is where you are confusing the $510K bonus. That is the total for all 17 games.

Smith is 32. Does he have anything left? Honest question. I would give a 5th and get back a 6th.

I’m seeing online that some people apparently got ESPN notification saying Myles Garrett was traded to the Cardinals then it was quickly deleted.. maybe Monti is shooting for a bigger fish than we realize

That would be pretty expensive, but maybe they are ready to go full rebuild.

The Browns have $45 million in cap space. If they trade him, they take on $35 million in dead space from that $45 million. They are already over thr cap next season with a $72 million hit with Watson. Trading Garrett frees up $35 million next year. They are stuck with Watson for two season after this, so this would help them.
