The Browns have $45 million in cap space. If they trade him, they take on $35 million in dead space from that $45 million. They are already over thr cap next season with a $72 million hit with Watson. Trading Garrett frees up $35 million next year. They are stuck with Watson for two season after this, so this would help them.

But even more so I doubt gambo has any idea who Monti is calling in his office.
A pro bowl level acquisition seems highly unlikely in any event. If we get a player my guess is he is 3rd on somebody's depth chart at best

I've been skeptical as well in the past, but he always seems to get the no answers right concerning the Suns.

I doubt he would put this out without talking to someone in the Cardinals organization.
