Bummer to see Buckner go.
The one thing I hate about this retirement is that a lot of guys are going to lose their jobs by no fault of their own. Imagine if you got fired and replaced whenever your boss quit?
Edit: I'd have had like 15 jobs by now.

I think Buckner lit fires, no doubt... but maybe he wasn't the coach we all thought he was? This new coaching staff will be a complete 180 from what we've seen IMO.

My dad lost his position as the chief of the investigators for our county prosecutors office but once a new governor came in, out dad went. My brother had the same fate a few years later. In short, it happens. It wasn't if my dad did a bad job, it was a political appointment and when the new prosecutor came in, obviously, they wanted their own man.
