Makes Barnes for 4yrs/90M$ look like a more viable gamble doesn't it?

Surely the Lin number can not be correct, I have not sen that anywhere. Why would Lin sign for 9M$ per in this market? It looks like 3/36 which still seems too cheap.

Jared Dudley will probably cost us similiar.

Jeremy Lin was one of those guys that came out of nowhere. Not that I think he is a world beater but I love to see guys like this in the league.

I doubt if the Suns can get Barnes from the Warriors as he will become a RFA but he is looking like one of the better players out there beyond the elite. It seems McDonough often likes to do trades in these type situations.

I can't believe Batum gets 5 years, 120 million from the Hornets. Some of these salaries are ridiculous. As someone said earlier, maybe the Suns would be wise to keep their powder dry and get the the best of the rest when a lot of teams have overspent.

DeRozan for 5 years, 139 million by the Raptors. Wow.

I thought the pacers were trying to move more into space and pace style ball. Isn't that why they dumped Hibbert? Not sure why they would be interested in Big Al

Maybe the Pacers wanted a traditional center. There is no doubt Al Jefferson comes to play.

He hasn't accepted it but it looks like Chandler Parsons was offered a 94 million/4 year deal by Portland.

http://clutchpoints.com/report-chandler-parsons-offered-4-year-94-7-million-chandler-parsons/

He seemed like an intriguing option until I read up on him and some of his comments about his free agency raise some real questions. He's actually argued with fans on twitter over opting out of his deal in Dallas and has said that he's a max player. Apparently Dallas offered him a new deal to resign there but apparently he felt "insulted" because it wasn't a max deal. Sources say that there is virtually no chance he returns to the Mavericks. Given his production and health while in Dallas, I can't blame them for not paying him max money, especially since a max to stay in Dallas is about $130 million for 5 years, which is insane for that level of player. I'm surprised Batum got a similar deal from Charlotte. Barnes will most likely get a deal around $100 million for 4 years from someone. Golden State would be wise to wait and match rather than throwing the hometown max at him on their own.

I'll say this for McDonough -- Knight's trade value is getting better by the hour. Any team looking for backcourt scoring has to be thinking, "Hmm, I could try to swing a trade for Brandon Knight, or I could pay twice as much for a guy who is half as good."

$17m per for Fournier and over $18m per for Turner?

My God, this is ridiculous. We knew it would be bad, but this is amazing.

Mirza 3yrs/30M$ from Milwaukee apparently - it is not as bad as I expected but I am sure glad he is not back. He just did nothing well besides shoot.

At this point we should be happy if we sign nobody, only veteran 1 year deals or make the big play for Barnes.

Because certainy Barnes for 90M$ does not look so bad compared to Evan Turner, Chandler Parsons, Mozgov or 120M$ for Batum.
