Based on three weeks of the season... what do you all think for the rest of the season?

Here is my prediction:

Carolina Panthers - Win
@ Chicago - Loss
Seattle - Win
@ St. Louis - Win
@ Tnnessee - Loss
Minnesota - Loss
@ SF - Loss
@ Detroit - Win
St. Louis - Win
Green Bay - Win

9-7

"It may be a good thing the bye week coming at this time, because we get a chance to correct some of these errors," coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "You like to think that athletically we can match up with those guys and win our share of battles, and we didn't do that tonight."
And probably out of these several days will be off... this team needs to practice in pads full two weeks much like the week following the NE disaster last year.

I just don't see Seattle as a threat due to injuries. If Hasselbeck is back fully healthy by then, there is a possibilility.

I'm bummed but I still think 10-6 is achievable-I said 11-5 but I no longer believe that's realistic after tonite's a^^whipping by Peyton Manning etal..I think We'll beat Chicago in the Fart City..

I agree it is...but that is based on what team shows up and what plays Whiz has in store. If it is 3 running plays with TH down 11 after losing all the momentum..then I see 6-10. If he opens it up and says ok lets outscore the bastards..then possibly 10-6. In any case ...we must beat SF in SF for it to work out anyway.

Based on Sunday, I think the AFC is a little better than the NFC. New England's offense wasn't that impressive, especially early on, but they didn't have that much trouble with Atlanta, and started to pull away in the second half.

Buffalo gave New Orleans all they could handle, but Trent Edwards made a couple of mistakes, including trying to force the ball to Terrible Owens to keep him happy, and instead throwing a critical interception.

While Indy was lucky to be 2-0 after playing Jacksonville and Miami, they dominated the Cardinals, especially the Cardinals offensive line.

Cincinnati beat a Green Bay team a week ago, that some prognosticators had going to the Super Bowl.

Pittsburgh won't be going to the Super Bowl this season unless Troy Polamalu gets healthy quick and stays healthy.

6-10.

SEA played very hard yesterday and kept the game very close to the Vikes. I highly doubt we can do that in Quest. Maybe in UofP, but not in Quest.

Green Bay will stomp on us.

There aren't many big time passing teams on that list. Cutler could change things for Chicago and Farve for the Viks and Eli is good but not like his brother but they still like to run first. That gives us a chance in every game.

Fortunately we don't play the Saints, NE, Chargers or Colts again.

5-11. Isn't that a little extreme. 7-9 at the worst for this team. I think they will end up no 9-7 or 10-6 provided how they respond to this horrendous effort last night.

If we lose to Detroit they should start firing people before the plane ride home.

I believe the last 3 times we have traveled to Detroit ('03, '04 and '05), we lost...
They are not as bad as people believe. Stafford and Johnson are developing into a nice tandem, and of course, Kevin Smith will give us fits on the ground...
And I wouldn't at all be surprised to see 'ol alligator arms himself, Bryant Johnson, torch our secondary...
Yea - I could see us losing this game... very easily...

I don't see us losing @Seattle easily but well it could happen
the race will still go on between us & 49ers
I can see 49ers lose 3 games in a row against Falcons, @Houstom & @Colts provided that they beat St Louis next week so they are 3-4 at the start of week 9

we are 1-2 now
W - Houston
L - @ Seattle
L - NY Giants
W - Carolina Panthers
so we could be 3-4 same as 49ers at start of wk 9

our main is to win the division, I am not worried about overall record as long as we can beat 49ers to it.

No way the 49ers lose all three of those games. They will beat Houston and possibly the Falcons.

Panthers are struggling. They are also a run heavy team. We have shown we can play well with a run first team so far. We really don't have pass rush and our secondary is overrated. That is my logic is picking a win there.

Green Bay is iffy... we can very well lose. But if we are still in playoff chase. It is possible we can pull that one out.

Seattle played Bears at home. Seneka Wallace does not scare anyone and their rush offense is not that good. Julius Jones is no Frank Gore.

The win against the Texans seems expected.....but to me its one of the tougher matchups ....Mario Williams and a pumped up Antonio Smith could cause alot of havoc on the OL .....the adjustments made by Grimm and Whis could go a long way for the rest of the season...we got two weeks to adjust and we need it....but a early lead always makes any OL better

And 8 of SEA's starters were out, and they still played pretty decent. That's why it's a win at UofP, but loss at Quest.

Some of the starters will be back for the game on the 18th.
