The 2025 NFL draft is closing in, now less than a month away. With the scouting combine completed and most Pro Days come and gone, things have now moved to the phase where NFL teams are meeting with prospects at their facilities. It's the final step in preparation of completing draft boards.

With that, ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller has released a full, seven-round mock draft for the entire league. Here's who he took for the Dallas Cowboys.

  • No. 12 overall: TE Tyler Warren, Penn State | Scouting Report
  • No. 44 overall: RB Kaleb Johnson, Iowa | Scouting Report
  • No. 76 overall: WR Jack Bech, TCU | Scouting Report
  • No. 149 overall: Edge David Walker, Central Arkansas | Scouting Report
  • No. 171 overall: OT Carson Vinson, Alabama A&M
  • No. 174 overall: DT Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, Georgia
  • No. 204 overall: CB Robert Longerbeam, Rutgers
  • No. 211 overall: G Jackson Slater, Sacremento State
  • No. 239 overall: DT Yahya Black, Iowa
  • No. 247 overall: WR Tai Felton, Maryland

Miller returned to the offense for the Cowboys' second-round pick, Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson.

The Cowboys wait to add their running back and would get a powerful runner with great outside zone ability. The 6-foot-1, 224-pound Johnson rushed for 23 touchdowns in 2024 while adding 1,725 all-purpose yards. He is a slasher who loves to run downhill and will make defenders pay if they're in his path when he clears the line of scrimmage. Watching him run through and around tackles outside the box gives off vibes similar to former Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray.

Miller's haul focuses all of Dallas' top-100 picks on the offense, which is necessary after the departure of Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, Rico Dowdle and Dalton Schultz over the last several years. Some may debate whether spending a first-round pick on a tight end, after using their 2023 second rounder on the position and getting little-to-nothing out of Luke Schoonmaker would be a wise use of having a top-15 selection this year.
