So Jefferson was injured by Pistons? damn.. what a surprise...

Sigh.. that's why they should get rid of that physical kind of defense. NBA is about fantasy basketball. Injuries like this could easily be avoided if the refs punish teams that gave hard hard fouls. Now I hate Pistons even more...

Feeling sad for Nets but not for Kidd.... he just made up his mind to stay in Nets instead of Wolves. LOL

I'm not sure what you meant, but I'm pretty close to agreeing with what you said!

Sorry English isn't my first language but when I meant Fantasy Basketball I mean "entertainment".

NBA is still more about entertainment than about the real hardcore-basket like college basketball.

People love seeing crazy dunks, crazy Threes and crazy passes. Why? Because most people can't do those things. I can't and most people I know who play basketball can't do those crazy things. But NBA players can and that's why people would PAY $50+ to see NBA games because it's a form of entertainment (to them at least). If it's just a regular college basketball game, I don't think most people would even pay $20.... even though those college players played their arse-off and played great quality basketball.

This is why I think NBA should get rid of those dirty, hard fouls. If Jefferson is already in the SKY, let him dunk it. Don't pull him down. It's VERY dangerous. A F foul doesn't justify what Nets has lost. It's a shame..really.

There needs to be a real crackdown on flagrant fouls.

On a more positive note, it looks like Zarko is doing pretty good with the Warriors. He grabbed 6 rebounds in 16 minutes against the Nets on Friday and had 4 rebounds in 13 minutes against the Bulls last night. I'm glad to see his getting a chance to play.

I think we can be pretty confident that the Pistons will not repeat as champions this year. Of course, the fact that they aren't playing well right now has a lot to do with that. But even if they get their act together, the league has to take major steps to clean up its image, and that won't be possible with a purely "physical" team like the Pistons on the throne.

Whether the league will go so far as to allow the Suns to do well in the playoffs remains to be seen. That would be a stunning reversal -- a "complete 360," in sports parlance. But Stern will be watching the early playoff rounds very carefully, and if the referrees try to allow their usual level of thuggery, he will instruct them otherwise. I'm quite sure of that.

Did I mention that my first 3 picks in the yahoo league were Kirilenko, JO'Neal and Jefferson? I guess Jamison and Arenas are next.

This is bad news for me, RJ was on my fantasy team!! I am already
suffering the losses of Magloire, Stephen Jackson, and Keith Van Horn!
The nets are truly going to be pitiful now. Besides VC and Kidd there is
seriously nobody on that roster worth a mention.
